I actually lost my heart pony back in September of 2021. When it was Christmas I was sad and my parents had a picture printed on a canvas for me. It was of the last time we ever got to see each other. I cried the whole way to the barn and I sat in her stall for a really long time just talking to her and reassuring her that I had nothing to do with what was going to happen that day and I still cry about her and wish she was still here because I really need her. She was my best friend she tollarated me more than anything and I don't know what I did to deserve her but I am really grateful that I got to be "her kid" for almost 5 years (we met at a camp then we never saw each other for several years then when I went to another camp and she was there and once I started volunteering at the barn our relationship really took off so really I was only her kid for only about a year.) I am sorry this turned into a rant about me missing my heart pony. But what I wanted to come here to say was thanks for writing this song that I can really relate to so much! Thanks Dan and Shay love you guys!
