Like do i need to explain to you mclarens business model so you understand why we dont define them as hypercars? Do not see how many cars they are pumping out? I actually like the car, but on video it looks like a regular Mclaren with extra body panels stuck on to it.
Stradman to JWW, actually its James to James: Finally a worth opponent!
Dude so stoked how you get access to super rare hypercars
WOW, McLaren always seems to not 1 Up themselves, but take it up a few notches! Incredible McLaren!!!
We need wallpapers on the website asap of all the cars in the collection and the ones you reviewed. Please🔥
So, my notifications this morning: Motortrend has a 911 Carrera S (yawn and MT has gone way down in respect and content lately). Mr. JWW has a super limited hypercar delivered to his own studio with an exec from the manufacturer in tow. The stuff you get access to continually amazes me. Thanks for all the hard work you and the team must put in to continue to create these productions for us. Greatly appreciated!
There was a sneaky Easter egg hidden in there... The McLaren LMP car.. hinting towards McLaren bringing a prototype to le man's 24!.
dream on,
@@AlexanderWest 🥴 somewhat perplexed... It's practically confirmed McLaren is building a car for the new le man 24 prototype/hypercar class so don't really need to dream about it.. if that's what you meant think it got lost in translation.
It looks EPIC!
Evert time that car turned on the turntable I felt like it was going to hit the pillar next to the door..
i watched this whole video in 4K and its the best video on youtube. period.
Yeah it look very.. artificial. To me it is an attenpt on surfing on the "hypercar" trend but without any effort. Sure it look cool (but far from the P1 or even the Senna in term of design flow), sure it is powerful and it must handle ok on the circuit but it doesn't bring anything new to the table.
Projects like this, the elvira or even the speedtail make me gradually lose interest in McLaren as a car manufacturer..
They need to focus on reliability and quality .
It looks and performs better than the Senna. What's there not to like about it?
@@AP13P The design. It’s ugly. The Senna, to me, looks better, while still being a design completely ruled by functionality. The Sabre is just bizarre, and not in a positive way.
It was commission by a group off people.. they didnt just do a special model for the sake of it.
That's the weirdest looking but beautiful McLaren ever made!
Watching this because of James' reputation, not because of the ugly car.

😂😂 Probably had to cut out competitors names
As a west coast native I am so exited to see a Sabre at one of the car shows around here. I can’t fathom what it will be like to experience.
It's called a senna on 3gs of cocaine
the flow attachment on the side and wheels wake venting is what stands out the most for me, active diffuser cherry on top
kind of looks like a track version of the speedtail
more like road version of the Senna GTR
The back looks like the veneno tbh
Talk about setting the bar high 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Ah! Sparky's car! Looks so good
A custom cupholder for Starbucks coffee, now that is some next level stuff. The blue carbon fiber, it's like something you would see on a spaceship. James you're starting off 2021 with a bang. Wow. Super video.
what kind of connections this guy have?
Your mom.
Dont understand why people are complaining. The thing looks amazing for the 15 bespoke editions to whoever ordered them in the US. Some say its ugly some say it looks cool. At the end of the day its the fastest car they have made and will suit its purpose well. These things will go for millions in the future.
Speedtail headlights with the elva side (kind of) with senna lm body from the side and mainly with that big senna lm *big wang* it looks like a fish waiting to attack lol.
WOW! Simply INCREDIBLE! It reminds me of a manta ray! What is even more incredible is that the designers and engineers were able to create these amazing lines and curves and still have it pass US car safely regulations which can be very, very harsh, hence why we here in the States don't get the Toyota GR Yaris. Very well done indeed! You will not mistake this car for anything else. Thanks for sharing! It is also amazing that McLaren even offers this kind of customer input on a car. When I make it big I find 14 other rich friends I know who were are going to for our next car :)
These america mandatory reflectors on the front wheel arch 🤦♂️😂
Anything to deface imports, since customers leaned that way.
Bruce Green its orange, suits the car.
The lighting in the bunker looks way better lately, nice work James and the crew.
When you start designing a bespoke cup holder, thats when you know you have run out of gud ideas
That's what the custom wanted. I don't think it was an engineering priority
@@allensaunders449 i got that, but come on they messed up so much. The designers didnt exercise control. At ferrari for instance, as u r customising your vehicle, they make sure that the customer doesnt stray too far from ferrari's design philosophy
Saw a white Mclaren Sabre cruising in Santa Monica/Beverly Hills area. Absolutely stunning and beautiful sound
Talks about the sound of the engine being unique. Doesn't play the sound of the engine. Me: :-(
Secretary: Sesto Elemento is calling sir.
Creative Head: Tell her I am on a meeting.
Not a fan of the looks at all.
The sabre and the senna will always be my favorite McLarens
It doesnt get any uglier
*bmw ix joined the chat*
Absolutely love the colour spec it’s epic !! I would love to see it in the flesh. Cheers 🍻 to MSO for producing such a rad ride 👍🏻🇨🇦👏🏻
This is a senna with a new body kit, lets not confuse it with a real hypercar like the jesko absolut, or the tuatara, or the venom f5 etc
This is not the case, video explains this is mostly an entirely new car - and even if it were the case the Senna is a hypercar so....
@@MrJWW lol don’t mind them these are people who don’t even own anything
@@MrJWW i would disagree still, considering what defined supercars in the mid 2000s and late 90s, i think we need to move the definition, when the holy trinity came out, you called those hypercars for good reason, they where far beyond anything around, now a days even a 720s will match the senna in sheer acceleration, the hypercars or the past are now supercars, and the new hypercars are those that break the standard trends or break records, the sabre does none, even the senna is more of a hypercar, since its still the king of the corners... this , well im guessing this was a few owners wanting a better looking senna, and even if its a "new car underneath" which we have heard this classic slogan from mclaren over and over again, for good reason.. since the audience cant really see whats new about the cars, and thats not a good sign if you want to define your cars as hypercars, starting with "its a new car inside" is everything BUT innovative but thats just my opinion, nevertheless, its a great looking car!
@@maartenvanbrakel2570 how? It's based on Senna GTR chassis. Venom F5 and Tuatara are kit-cars made in a shed with fake numbers.
Like do i need to explain to you mclarens business model so you understand why we dont define them as hypercars? Do not see how many cars they are pumping out? Its super simple really, they stick with a simple engine (twin turbo v8) modify it continuously for every new model, create base carbon tub for general purpose, and adapt both, engine and carbon tub for every new car, design new aero and body work and BOOM new mclaren hypercar
I just want to convey a spot of context...this is MEGA James, :)
Mclaren focus more on fit & finish. No need to come out with new models that quickly.
This project is by MSO not McLaren and took over 4 years to create. So.
Im amazed by the exclusive cars you get to review these days! Awesome awesome content
orange dreamsicle lined in electric blue magic...how else do you describe this thing
James, you and production bunker are making massive moves and i love it, keep the sick content coming!
“Federal-only” = wouldn’t be legal in Europe due to more stringent safety standards
Yeah it’s a U.S. car only
"standards"
Is the video a bit whitened because the black dont seem to be that deep. Firstly i thought that it was my screen but its just the video .pls check just a wll wisher🙏🙏👍👍
I hated The designe, The worst in my opnion. Nice video!
I think Mclaren needs to slow down with releasing a new model almost every year.
I salute this. They can make better cars if they take their time.they wil fall in the ferrari trap, calling 458s with different body kits new models 😴😡
I’m sorry but that is horrible and no it won’t grow on me.
McLaren do design the best looking cars out there. Never thought I would say that after the mp4-12c
