Steven Ellis is my favorite Draft-nik. He's awesome on camera. Smooth.
I can see him being a big name on a big network down the line.
Good on him. I like seeing people do well.

I think they will take the Defensemen. That is smart.

Ellis is one of my best when it comes to prospects and drafts, him and Peters seem to think more like NHL personnel. Obviously Bobby Mac is in hos own class but that's because he is plugged in with everyone. But the more i read the more i want Demidov, potential game changer not sure about Levshunov, i feel he is closer to Jones than Hedman

That level of competition seems questionable to me... I don't think it's that easy to tell how Demidov seperates himself from the rest of the prospects playing foward, specially that we have not seen him with the type of international competition some of the others have been... It's a gamble at number 2...

Levshunov is the smart choice, Demidov is the sexy choice

Demidov is the sexy pick and if he is the pick. It's nit the wrong pick. Levshunov is safe but I'm not sure he'll be a top dman like Keith logging 29 minutes plus. And that's what I'm looking for at 2. Demidov is like kane, or datsyuk. You just cannot pass that up. Even though dman is more important. You go BPA

Was St. Louis taking a defenseman over Toews the smart choice? Take the potentially best most impactful player. Duncan Keith was a second round pick. Hammer was a 4th

Smart choice is a defensemen who might not pan out as good defensively as he is physically and offensively? Who has questions about his defensive decision making? No thanks

@kyledelcotto4550 cam Robinson, hes correct too. Levshunov is an average defender who likes to sacrifice defense for offense. He's pretty big but doesn't use that size as much as he should either. If we pick Levshunov and we watch demidov hit 5 all star games and break 100 points we going to wish he was our guy. Because that's what the guys ceiling really is. He's not even a bad defensive player lol

I think if they take levshunov at #2 they, and particularly the fans, will regret it.

Every guest is saying Demidov is better, but unfortunately the Hawks will definitely pick Levshunov

Levshunov isn't a bad pick at all. Hawks are very thin at RHD with just Rinzel at the pipeline. Would I pick him? No, but if you can trade up for a Catton, Eiserman or Sennecke with the 2nd pick, Hawks draft will be just as good as Demidov and a RHD like Jiricek or Emery

Meh. I've actually warmed up to them picking Levshunov. I WANT Demidov, but I'm not burning the world down if they choose Levshunov.
I know some trash bags will stomp their feet and cry about whatever....but STFU!!
      Let Davidson cook....

What info you got? I think Davidson will go demidov because hes just more projectable. Higher ceiling. It's pick 2. You don't go after need and Kyle knows that. BPA (demigod)

Best player available.... the key word is "available" ...like not in Russia.

What??? Makes no sense … Demidov will be available at 2… what does Russia have to do with this

@user-km1dk1zk1g you kidding ?! The Russian factor is something that scares the GMs EVERY YEAR. Last time a Russian was picked top 3 overall right from Russia was Evgeni Malkin / Ovechkin in 04. 20 years ago !
Its the KHL contracts and now the war. Lots of scouts didn't get to see Demidov in action.
Im not saying the Hawks won't take him but its definitely a possibility

He signed with dan milstein an American agent.. do some research instead of repeating some shit you heard. He literally says his dream is to play nhl and even play center.

Already turned down khl contact and extensions. Name an actual player Russia turned down from coming to nhl?

We still owe the Rangers for the greasy thievery of Kevin Hayes
