Just came across this cage today on the Savic website and I must say, I've never been more excited!😄 I have mice that I currently keep in a DIY 100cm by 50cm by 50cm cage, but I've always wanted a wire cage as the bars allow for more climbing area to work with (attaching accessories to the sides and top compared to just hanging from the lid as I currently do). This cage has everything I could hope for - Good size, deep base, small bar spacing. I'm hoping I can get it in South Africa. Some of our petshops do have Savic products, so, depending on the costs, hopefully one day.😁 Thank you for the review; was very helpful.
It's great isn't it? :-) I also thought it would be perfect for mice - the size, the height and the bar spacing. I hope you can get it! I believe it's fairly easily available in European countries right now. They always seem to be available a bit after that in the Uk
Which lucky hamster if getting this. Savic are doing good as bringing out better cages. I think they may go fully acrylic sides at some point, which will be great. I had a Savic Plaza 100, but did a diy 120 x 60cm x 60cm as Syrian items need a lot of space. I ended up with a Russian dwarf hamster though.
@@carlbrown2485 It's going to be an upgrade for Tino 🙂 He's the giant baby Syrian hamster 🤣. He's actually four months old now though so not really a baby any more. I have a Plaza 100 as well but he'd appreciate more space. My other Syrian is in the Plaza 120. He's getting quite old now but still uses all the space.
I have the plaza 120 but I suspect this will suffer the same problems. Doors too narrow and if you shift the bedding to get platforms to the bottom, it all falls through the bars. Good size though!
I haven't found that :-) But I have bedding panels in the Plaza 120. This one has very narrow 6.5mm bar spacing as well, so bedding doesn't fall out easily. I did think the front door could have been wider on the Plaza 100, but with the Plaza 120 and this one, having the top door as well makes things a lot better for me 🙂

an interesting design ...a flat pack ideal if moving to another room / house ...the plexi glass pieces and deep base ...a good looking cage .
I like the fact it can be disassembled too 🙂The plexi part is lovely
