What bugs me about every, single ,segment of companies like this, is that they never show off the FOOD. Does it look good? What kind of ingredients are being used? It's like they always focus on the pipeline but never the quality and then wonder why people are skeptical to order...
If people were skeptical to order then these people would not exist. . They've done their research and know this is a goldmine they are sitting on. They very cleverly attach the brands which people generally relate to and the brands have to comply because of the changing ecosystem. .There are billions of dollars that can be made in the cloud kitchen space in the next 5-10 years. Also, wait until they automate the whole process, then the profits will reach exponential level.
Tried cloud kitchen many times that I don't want to order it again. It have it own market, just not for me. Beside making my hunger go away. I don't see any value. It is more expensive, quality is similar to every fast food chain, don't have a feeling of support local. business. Maybe I am in lock down for too long that I prefer to have people interaction than just food.
The result that they want in this kind of business model is that it supposedly systematical efficient and under the standard duality of each brand of restaurant chains that which they are operating (unlike the brick and mortar restaurants). That's why it really feels like a factory made product than restaurant made.
Cooking is all about love and caring. Food must always reflect the positive energy of the person cooking the food. Not against technology, but food is very personal and devine which technology can never replicate.

I am picturing a future where all the chefs in this kitchen are robots, and the delivery drivers are also robots (i.e. autonomous driving) so the cooks can actually communicate with the drivers in real time to let them know which order is going to be ready and also the locations of the drivers will always be visible by the cooks, the robot cooks can cook all the items in an order in exactly the same amount of time each time. The drivers can predict the traffic conditions along their routes so they can deliver the orders within exactly the planned time. So together they can form this perfect and highly efficient assembly line and delivery system of food for human consumers.
Unfortunately its really not same as the brand , i.e the Shake shack this kitchen produces is really bad 😅, sorry but thats the truth . other brands i tried also doesn’t reach the actual taste but wasn’t bad
Food delivery and delivered food are just not good. Who loves the the food that became saggy after 40 minutes, real world average delivery time in the US.

you don't need to eat good food every day, sometimes just eat "good enough" food is more than enough, i don't need $80 premium burger for breakfast, i just need a filler food. especially for a busy guy, you don't want to be picky with your food, you just want your food on your table at the expected time. eat our food then go back to work, i want reliability, a piece of mind knowing that when i hungry, the food is ready just leave the fine dining for the weekend

They don't care what they sell or how it tastes, as long as it can be qualified as food.

As long as people are willing to pay for CONVENIENCE this phenomenon will take over the traditional type food shop
