I miss my system so bad. It seems like my build is taking forever. Watching these vids really gets the fire lit for me and gives me the want to complete my project. I love that Tahoe sick slamming four 18s. Nice set up. I dig the color scheme. Simple clean and mean.
This is my future planned set up, same SUV but with 4 Fi sp4 15 with 4 soundqubed 4500. This is a bad ass set up.

I love this guys honesty. He has no idea of the tuning. Better then just saying a random number like most of em. Looks like the subs are asking for more juice. He could probably cut his impedance in half and get so much more out of em. Nice build, looks like it's louder than it seems.

At least he was honest about his box tuning. But personally speaking, even if somebody else built my system, I would HAVE TO KNOW every last detail, and the specs to the second decimal point. Love those 12" flared ports though :)

Just curious. Are the ports doing anything when the subs are facing down like that? Though the air was from the back where the magnet is. 🤔
Invert just helped make the box bigger and allow better cone control so the motor isn't as close to the ports is my guess
Good looking SUV and system! I thought I saw a roof brace flapping. That was a 3 db loss when I broke mine. Scott Bowman repaired my roof braces and we put 3 layers of deadener and gained almost 4 db with the repairs and the deadener. I believe this system is doing 154's or better.

I’ve already made the decision to switch to crossfire amps. Currently running all dd. Dd m3c on a fully built dd 9500 15. Don’t know if wanna keep running dd subs when I upgrade or switch the subs to crossfire as well
DD fan myself. I believe spl/Sq DD has it. Personally had DD9515GS with a 4000.1bd Fosgate. Now I have a Z2c and hoping to get into the Zs for the subs. DDs subs are great regardless. Not dissing others.
Mr. K yeah I had a dd m5 but I traded it for the m3c and the fully built 9500k esp 15 and a temporary custom porter enclosure till I get my 6th order built to save on some money right now. Never really new anything about crossfire. Started looking at dyno and clamp numbers on their amps and I’m very impressed. When I upgrade ima get the xs 8k from them. Seen clamp numbers doin 10.5k at 12.5 volts at 1 ohm after rise. I’m learning how to become an electrician so I’m in a great career field. Even turned down rolls Royce for 23.41 an hour for this trade cause in the long run I can make a lot more. Now between a dd z4 and crossfire subs I’ll buy the z4 any day just run a single one of them on the 8k and it’ll take it like a champ. Just don’t know which ones are more efficient and responsive. I’d either run the 9900s fully built also or the xs v4s on the 8k. Just trying to learn more about the subs before I decide but I feel like dd has them on subs beat. Vehicle is a 04 Yukon Denali.

Took them a minute to figure out how to make them fit without compromising tire or lifting.. lol. I wasnt gonna tell my mechanical ideas.. lols.. shit sounds beating bro... I might do 2 18s in my 07 on 3k watts just to have some bump

@@EagleTheBirdman Call it what you want. I know a control arm when I see one. Those are double ended heim joints threaded on Dom tubing. Scott Bowman took a control arm and called it a custom stripper pole. Look at the link and tell me that ain't what that is. Go on Bowman's Instagram, he pretty much confirms that's what they are when someone commented that they look like a 4 link suspension.

Looks like he used D Ring mounts from a bumper but that's definitely a control arm.
@@EagleTheBirdman Eagle mareno the only thing "custom" on those stripper poles is the sticker on it. I'm assuming you've never worked on a truck before. The 1st time I saw it on SBC - Cockbox FB page I was like this guy's a genius, taking tierods & control arms off lift kits and marketing them as stripper poles. It's so blatant that he'd be foolish to even try denying it.
