After a month of sitting in the water and some light use, we decided to put the Hull Maxx to the test. We've tried it before but this is the first time we did it on our own boat. We did not expect what happened next. Let us know how you like this content.

What a beautiful boat!
Don't know if you have ever tried Salt Away, it works great also....I put it on my boat on a month fishing trip to the beach with the boat in the water the whole time and had nothing on it when I pulled it out, my dad's boat was covered with barnacles because he had nothing on his boat. It does require multiple applications...I would always wash my boat down with it before taking it to the beach and when I got home.
Beautiful boat. Would be good to see this boat perform in rough water.(3 - 4 ft).

You have a $150k boat with a Walmart anchor! 😆 SUre the slime will rub off easy with an application of some decent product. But gelcoat will absorb water and blister the hull over time and wait till you get busy and not give it that regular attention and then the barnacles set in. Your best bet is to keep it on a trailer or put a bottom job on it.
Absolutely beautiful boat product seems to work great but I would have a tough time leaving such a beautiful boat in the water all the time
Makes it a lot easier to be used on a regular bases for us.

You technically don't have to re apply unless it is damaged/ scratched off.
how come they dont make the rub-rail come all way around the transom? .....that sharp overhang doesnt look or function good.
Does hull maxx work for trailered boats? Or does it have to stay wet?
It does work for trailered boats. You jus just need to put a protective cover on your bunks. It will wear off pulling it in and out though, from what they've told us.
I think is better buy Hull Shield!!
Hullmaxx is a complete nightmare here in NJ you have to haul to clean no Diver i know will touch it...

To much work and dangerous work at that , especially doing the bottom . If you're going to leave it in the water , you're better off with bottom paint .
If you dont put your boat on a lift or trailer it . Paint the bottom , end of story.
