Thanks for the video. My chair does lift up and down motion but not back or forward. I replaced board once by manufactures recommendation but did samething. Is it wire problem? What should I check or replace? Thank you in advance.
Maybe it is wiring problem or motor issue. Pls interchange the pins to another motor and check

Sorry for late reply. Thanks for your appreciation. There are few possibilities more brother. Check the board also if it failed after reset👍
@@MrBiomedical Thank you for your reply! For Educational only purpose I want to share! There's a bolt 🔩 into/ through the rotation axis (that when it is screwing, the back caming up) which when you screwing it clockwise/unclockwise the range of rotation axis changes.

Good to hear those words. Thank u so much. The answer is simple. First i checked every components and it was fine. Then there is two IC's. One is regular IC which we can get it in local market, another one is programmable, which we only get it in the manufacturers. First i changed regular IC, but still complaint didnt rectified. So i guessed the problem will be in programmable IC.

hi nice video, i had the same problem with my dental unit, replaced the lifting control board since it's cheap. But after 2 weeks the same problem happened, can you please tell me why it keeps on breaking. Many thanks.

@@MrBiomedical i'll ask my technician. So it's like a electrical output problem? Sorry I'm a dentist and I have no idea about my units electrical, though I can do simple replacement of air and water hoses but that's it.
Hi, my chair is confident Mookambika electric dental chair.
I am not getting power supply to the inbuilt micro motor hand pice and scaler unit. But my x ray viewer is working. Can you please tell me how to correct micromotor power supply?

Can you please help me with a problem I’m having on the downward moving of the chair, other controls are working fine
And I also swapped the plugs for hydraulic cylinders just to check if my cylinders are okay and they are in perfect condition. So I believe that one component controlling the seat’s downward movement is not working

There are few possibilities:
1. Check suction tube. If any damage there, it may not work sometimes.
2. Inside of that suction handle, there will be a switch to trigger the motor, pls check its working or not.
3. Check the vaccum pump, there will be a capacitor. Pls check whether that capacitor bulged or damaged👍🏻
These are the conditions. If none of this working check the board.

Shouldn't we have to remove the ckt board out and solder the point at the back of it?
Yes thats correct, but that IC is mounted on the IC holder right? So we can easily unfix and fix
Hi...seen a dental chair when on upward movement, it goes down itself with knocking sound as that of some command being initiated on it...could it be the IC or the relays?

Hi I've challenger prime dental chair. The chair is not moving up and down
Check foot switch, panel switch, connections, check whether the input is coming to the control board
My handpiece selections are not working, sensors are ok the light blinks in the board but handpiece won't run when foot is pressed , changed program ic but still not solved ,your help will be appreciated,I asked for program copying but the engineer is hesitating that it may damage the other running Dental chair

What are the other components you checked
I like the way you are questioning. Really appreciate that. The thing is, whenever you are about to do the board level repair, you have to aware of visual inspection. If none of those components damaged, you can go with DMM. And the basic thing you have to know is, u should know about diodes, caps, resistors, bridge rectifier, transistor. Then u should know how to test it with DMM. What i mentioned in video is like that only, i've checked some components(random) and it was in good condition. For the video purpose, i trimmed that clip. Then coming to the IC. There is only 3 IC's. Two IC's we can get from local shops. Then there is a programmable IC(which i confirmed it with that electronic shop manager). I already changed one IC, but that complaint didnt solved. So i personally asked one engineer who is working for that company and arranged that programmable IC. After changed that IC, it worked. Thats it. There is no risk because this is just a single layer board.
My chair goes up, down, back but not front. Earlier it was going front by jerking (stopping in between) motion, now it doesn't go front at all. Please help, I'm only using foot control, no tray controll.

@@MrBiomedical Thanks for the reply, But only the foot control is functional, The foot control has a stick for up, down, back ,front movement, ,The tray keypad has been disconnected long back.

How do you come to a conclusion that IC wasn't working? How To ensure that that IC is not working? Can we do that with help of a multimeter itself?
You can do that with multimeter, but you should know how to read datasheet. If you know it, you can easily check the IC

@@MrBiomedical I interchange the upward downward pin with backward forward, then only upward downdward movement occur with back forwad key.

How do you order for the programmed Ic
Thing is simple. You can buy IC and program urself with another working chair's IC. But you need that kit

Like what? A service warantee?
@@MrBiomedical yes. Where I work, we would suggest replacing the entire board to avoid any mishaps down the road if it was cause by another issue that was not evident. Component level repair is good to know but not so practical now. I do applaud you for being able to repair it the way you did. I just worry that component level repairs may be a short term fix in some situations.

You can get a plain IC and you should program it after
that dental package has Chinese written all over it.... no wonder it doesn't work...... replace it with an Adec!!!
