I have cried cutie I've lost my minecraft worlds at least 10 times one of them I played with my best freind and he showed me something really cool and I lost the world 😭😭😢😢😢😭😭
IT WORKS - with minor tweaks. Huge thank you for creating this video!! First of all, you need FX File Explorer to install the .mcpack file. (Simply clicking on it with any other explorer won't work, but FX File Explorer does the job.) If you do it this way, you don't need to open the games folder (which you can't anymore). Also, the UI of Minecraft PE has changed too -- simply copying the file over only works if external storage is used (this is unusable: as we want to export worlds in the application storage). This issue is also being solved by the FX File Explorer install method of .mcpack files.
THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH MAN!!! I DIDN'T WANT TO MOVE THE WORLD BUT I NEEDED TO DOWNLOAD IT AND THIS METHOD ABSOLUTELY WORKED, I'M CRYING WITH HAPPINESS!! THANK YOU AGAIN!!!

Just want to say thanks and report my results for anyone else who's spent an afternoon struggling with this like me. My brother just put together a PC this Christmas and had one particular Pocket Edition world he wanted to transfer. We've spent half the day trying all sorts of methods, and this was the winner. The one issue I ran into, both on my Pixel 3a that is running Android 12 and on his Moto X4 that is running Android 9, was that when I took the last step and tried to load the exported world into the Minecraft Mobile App's external storage, it instead created a new copy of that world in the application storage location, meaning I had essentially just gone through a bunch of extra steps to make a copy of the world. I'm not sure why it wouldn't import the world into the external storage; it could be an update on the app since the posting of this video, or perhaps it has to do with the fact that neither of our phones have an SD card or anything. BUT, since we were more concerned with getting the PE world onto his PC, I took the .mcworld file I created and dropped it into the usual location on the PC for worlds, then clicked on it to launch it in Minecraft. From there, Minecraft created the necessary files and folders for the world and it all looks to be intact and good to go.
It took some time to get the file in to Minecraft. It didn’t work with pasting it in. Tried many many times. But if I clicked on the file in the Explorer and chose to open in Minecraft, then it worked great. Thank you for saving my survival world ❤
Thank you, this really help. Now I got to not only back up my world (which is saved in Application before), I could use two phone to play one world with no prob. 👍
Idk if it's only me experiencing this but to anyone who did the steps where you can't find the resource pack that you copied to the resource folder just tap the mobile export pack and there should be an option that says "open", and there you have it, the resource should ne in your global resource now. I used Zarchiver btw.
23 June 2024 : It worked, you can just import the export addon to your Minecraft. The addon may not show export options first try, refresh your app, and re-import the addon if it don't show up
@@StarSunYT one point can be added for ease. From the filesystem the resource pack can be opened after moving to the resource pack folder. This will open minecraft with the resource pack properly enabled. I also noticed that the LAN gaming does not work when using external storage instead of application. So I use this system, just to make back ups to ensure things does not get lost.
Minecraft has up there security you can no longer do this I have done this and I check my files I see the Minecraft folder but it's empty no data no nothing. They removed the ability to do this because they want you to pay for realms to back up your worlds.
This is still working as of March 2024 with minor changes. You can use the file explorer he specified to tap on and OPEN the *.mcworld files specifying Minecraft as the application to open with, instead of navigating to android folder etc. Opening with Minecraft under SOME file explorers (incl the one he showed) works for both the MCPE mcworld file he linked for us to download, and for worlds you export.
try tapping on all *.mcworld files involved to open them with minecraft instead of trying to move them to restricted folders If it says "can't open this file" or you don't see minecraft in the list of apps to use to open, try a different file explorer, including the speed software file explorer he showed.

A little confusing but I got it to work. I have an android 14. First I changed the storage location to external and I created a world. Second, I changed the storage location back to application. Then I downloaded the thing that we were supposed to download. For some reason it wouldn't let me open it so I had to move it "internal storage." Then when I clicked on it it opened in Minecraft. Then I went to the main settings and activated the pack. I went to one of my worlds and clicked on the little pencil icon and scrolled down to the bottom where there was supposed to be an export option, but there was not. So I went back to the main settings and deactivated the pack. Then I went to my settings and deleted the file. Then I redownloaded the file, moved it to internal storage and opened it. After that I activated it and went to check if it worked and it did! Then I was able to export my worlds! Praise be to God! I am glad it worked, thanks.
I can only get the resource pack to work on external storage when I switch back to internal application storage there’s no option to export but i AM able to export external worlds
I can't access my Android data on explorer it always making me force to go files then i can't use folder it says"can't use folder for your protection/privacy" pls could someone help me😢
did you in application or external dont worry download file manager + click the mcpack it will open minecraft then go to setting then enable mcpack and return to home then select play open your world editor it like a pencil scroll down you can see the export world option simple
You can just open the file with Minecraft. I had a red screen then black but I got the message it started the import. Wait for another message saying that it's successfully done importing. The world will be right there.
@nanajp mine doesnt let me open the file with minecraft, so i basically needed to do the things he did in the vid, but im now stuck because i cant even open the resource pack folder, it just says "access denied"
I'm going crazy, resource pack is installed, export option wasn't showing up so I refresh like comments suggested, now the resource pack is not showing up, it is still installed I can see it in the files, can't delete it and the open with Minecraft option is not showing anymore aaaaaaaa helppp
As per version 1.20.80 on Minecraft pe I can no longer find export world option since there has been some UI changes.....only options I see are duplicate world and delete world....has anyone got a solution to this problem?
W Creator W Life May god Bless you..I had a Minecraft World that i played for 2 years now and when i changed to external my world went missing and my heart sank.Thank you so muchhh🥰🥰
it wont let me do it whenever i try it says "after you press ok, the android document selection dialog will be displayed please press use this folder. then it takes me somewhere completely random in my storage.
Same here! Plus the instructions he gave look completely different for me, like half of the pages and tabs he's shown in this video don't look the same for me at all so it's making this extremely difficult.
@@sampauly1256 i haven't personally done it after experiencing this issue but I know how to fix it. Unfortunately because of Google being retarded, you have to connect your phone to your laptop or computer, then you can access the file on your computer. It took some time to get the file in to Minecraft. It didn’t work with pasting it in. Tried many many times. But if I clicked on the file in the Explorer and chose to open in Minecraft, then it worked great. Thank you for saving my survival world ❤
Glad it worked!
Omg thanks was haveing the same problem!

Thank you bro, you already save my old world now I can play Peacefully on my pc with my homies and also it's so nostalgic seen our world is back 😅🎉❤
Glad it worked:)
Idk if it's only me experiencing this but to anyone who did the steps where you can't find the resource pack that you copied to the resource folder just tap the mobile export pack and there should be an option that says "open", and there you have it, the resource should ne in your global resource now. I used Zarchiver btw.
It keeps saying error
23 June 2024 :
It worked, you can just import the export addon to your Minecraft.
The addon may not show export options first try, refresh your app, and re-import the addon if it don't show up
Finally..i searched about this hard until i opened this vid thx bro i f love u 😭😭❤️❤️
THANKYOU SO MUCH L, so now I can switch to a new version, thankyou!!!!❤
such an awesome lovely video! cant express the feeling in words!! So detailed man! thank you so so much
Glad to help:)
Bro my minecraft folder does not have a resource pack folder what do I do 😢 plz reply
my Explorers doesn't have a "Android" folder ... so I'm stuck at 5:00
Thank you so much sir, i subscribed your channel. U are the best RUclipsr Tutorial!
Minecraft has up there security you can no longer do this I have done this and I check my files I see the Minecraft folder but it's empty no data no nothing. They removed the ability to do this because they want you to pay for realms to back up your worlds.
If i use my free trial realm demo will i be able to do the backups?
well that explains A LOT
@@cioffolino3818 I think so but onces it expired it won't be backed up as long as your subscription is active it will
Bruhh NOOOOOOOOO
This is still working as of March 2024 with minor changes.
You can use the file explorer he specified to tap on and OPEN the *.mcworld files specifying Minecraft as the application to open with, instead of navigating to android folder etc.
Opening with Minecraft under SOME file explorers (incl the one he showed) works for both the MCPE mcworld file he linked for us to download, and for worlds you export.
Thank you Very Much bro! You saved my 2 years survival world thank you so much you deserve a sub ❤❤❤
Thank you very much, your video helped me, I already thought that I would not be able to transfer the world to a new device
Thanks a lot. You litterally saved my game :)
Thank you so much for the detailed video❤❤.. Others tend to make their videos short so i couldn't understand them
Thank you so much, it actually works and I'm just so grateful cause i thought there was no way of doing that 😭💓
Thank you very much, Mate! You helped me a lot, just like, as we can see, you did help many others. Cheers!
thank you sir. you shall forever have my respect. you helped me when the idiots working at mojang couldn't
I've been trying to do it for a long time, thanks bro! It worked
Glad it worked:)
TYSMM Now I saved my survival world tyssmm!😭😭
Upon copying / moving the .mcpack file into the [resource_packs] I get the "copy failed" error.
try tapping on all *.mcworld files involved to open them with minecraft
instead of trying to move them to restricted folders
If it says "can't open this file" or you don't see minecraft in the list of apps to use to open, try a different file explorer, including the speed software file explorer he showed.
@@nuclearjong in my case everything worked great except the last part, i can't move the world from DOWNLOAD to Minecraft Worlds, even if i try to copy it or just move it there, it says it failed
I tried with Explorer(the one he showed in the vid) FX file explorer and ZArchive and it says the same thing =(
Same thing here I tried copy pasting moblieexprt it doesnt work it says failed 😢@@TheLegenD-fx4mc
Thank You Bro, for this Awesome Video! You just saved my Day!!

Over a year ago, but still worked so well. Thank you man, just earned a sub and a like. ❤
Glad it worked!
🎉 You saved my day, many thanks to you mate😊
You deserve everything in the world, thank thank you
Hey, I just wanted to ask because my other recourse packs and add-ons aren't working in the external file. In the application however everything works fine.
Do you have any advice? Thanks a lot
Edit: I got it working, I had to move the files into the recourse pack folder in the extern storage
I want to tell you all it actually works!!!!!!it actually works!!!oh my god,i am almost going to cry!!!it actually works!!!!!!
Thank you so much it actually works!!!!!!
I swear you really saved me a huge headache thank you 🙏
Bro when I export the world it's says I need more storage even though I have alot
Can you help? The minecraft folder is empty and it gives me a warning to "protect my personal data" (I'm on an Oppo)
THANK YOU!!!
I got a drowned code and I had to uninstall and reinstall the game, but my worlds were on aplication so if I uninstalled the game they were gone.
So now I can uninstall the game and keep my worlds! Thanks man
it worked in my Andriod 10, but instead of Zarchiver or Speed Software File Explorer it worked through My Files inbuilt app. Thanks
I am on version 1.20.80 and the only options available to me are duplicate or delete world....could you suggest a solution?
So helpful and straight to the point, thanks!! ❤
Thnku soooo much broo I was trying this from 5 hrs with different videos but your steps did it❤❤
Glad it worked!
Thanks so much bro you actually saved my pets from getting lost forever😢😂❤❤❤
Thank you very much. You helped me well and the tutorial was well precised and clear. You saved me. ✨🤗
Thanks man you saved my world
ty bro now i can save my world when im doing survival world ty wish u got more subs❤😊
Thanks Dude, Your video was very helpful to me. I was so afraid that if i lost my MC survival world. This way can help me a lot ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
without that explorer just click on the export file that you have downloaded and select *openwith* and it will directly import the file to MCPC
@nanajp mine doesnt let me open the file with minecraft, so i basically needed to do the things he did in the vid, but im now stuck because i cant even open the resource pack folder, it just says "access denied"
@@sheenie7377 Try diffrent explorer app to open using minecraft. Ex Explorer worked for me
I'm going crazy, resource pack is installed, export option wasn't showing up so I refresh like comments suggested, now the resource pack is not showing up, it is still installed I can see it in the files, can't delete it and the open with Minecraft option is not showing anymore aaaaaaaa helppp
As per version 1.20.80 on Minecraft pe I can no longer find export world option since there has been some UI changes.....only options I see are duplicate world and delete world....has anyone got a solution to this problem?
Yes I m also facing same problem
@@Random-QR same
Same. I managed to do what was described in the video but ONLY with worlds that I saved externally. Not my internal worlds
I'm also having this problem, everything is exactly the same up until this point. I think I'm on Android 13 - is there a work around? Please 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
@@sampauly1256 i haven't personally done it after experiencing this issue but I know how to fix it. Unfortunately because of Google being retarded, you have to connect your phone to your laptop or computer, then you can access the file on your computer. This is for "security" or so they say but its impossible to access on android phones now. The only way to access it is to connect your phone to a computer.
@@goldenretrieversarethebest8119 Hi , i faced the same problem, the solution is too simple , skip all the steps , 1 click on the file , 2 choose minecraft , and it will show up on your resource packs , activate it and tadaaa
@@maryamelbaz5552 step 1? click on what file?
Thank you so much man,you saved my world :)
