Dawud Adib- The Religion Needs Men {A must Hear}

Our elder, brother Daawood Adeeb was born in the USA and accepted Islaam in 1975. Shortly thereafter -- without a teacher - he began to learn the Arabic language and by 1977 he was the regular khateeb (preacher) at two local masaajid in his hometown of Newark, New Jersey including the musallaa (prayer hall) at the New Jersey College of Medicine and Dentistry. Daawood also served as Director of Islamic Studies from 1980 to 1985. While serving as the Director of a full time Islamic school he also taught grades pre-kindergarten through twelve. He has worked as a chaplain in three state correctional institutions teaching Arabic language, Islamic studies and counselling both Muslims and non-Muslims inmates alike. He is an Islamic marriage counsellor and was the Imaam of Masjidul-Bayaan formerly the Islamic Center of Asbury Park, New Jersey.Recently Aboo Tasneem was the Imaam of Masjid as-Sunnah Nabawiyyah in Philadelphia.
An excellent advice to the MEN of Islaam. In this lecture brother Daawood Adeeb discusses the spike in crimes, serious crimes against humanity committed by some Muslims on the East coast of the USA such as bank robberies and brothers dressing like women in niqaabs then committing crimes. Expounding on what is a "MAN", as defined by the sharee'ah of Islaam. The issue of myspacesiyoon -- those who use myspace.com for haram purposes. An encouragement to the brothers in specific to take care of their responsibilities towards their families, their children and so on. Addressing vanity amongst brothers with 20 pairs of sneakers, 10 pairs of Tims, carrying a hair brush in the car, getting a haircut every 3-5 days, and always brushing making sure the waves are in.
