If you have taken CSE/IT or other computer related branches then college won't matter much...you must study by yourself and practice coding and all!! Although IITs are far better than any private colleges (except BITS)....else NITs and some top IIITs are also really good options than any private college...you must take your JEE Preparations very seriously!!

haha, well I'm in 3rd sem. and I'm in the official media club of our college and rn in our college placement drives chl rhi h, that's why I was covering all such events (clicking pictures), what happened yesterday is when the GD rounds are over and I was about to go as always, I thought nahi hrr baar dimaag m aata h ki ek baar apne thpughts or points bhi rkhne hai..lekin at the end I always let things go as they are going. lekin iss baar nahi, I just take my very first step to tell what I want to in front of HR... drte drte shuruaat ki, I can't even have a conversation with my friends in english, yesterday I just did it.... maine apna naa kvl point rkha uss GD topic pr wo bhi 5 logo k saamne, I did that well ki HR himself said that your point is that much valid ki if you are sitting in the last group discussion I'll definitely mark yes for you. All I want to share is: 1. I took my initiative. I always wanted to do this but in the end, I just let things go as they are but this time, very politely, I took my very first step. 2. Overcoming the fear of putting my words just because of a language in person. I did. Ofcourse, not perfectly but I did way more better than I was expecting from myself. 3. As I mentioned yesterday in the comment, I am grateful for you, because of you and your experiences, I am able to took this baby steps. Thank you so much

Platforms like Skill lynq are also there if anybody is interested to work in the core simulation based( design, CFD and stuff) jobs. Those seemed shady like Byju's at first, but I have been seeing quite a few people ending up in good companies after the training.
Although students preparing for JEE get enrolled in different colleges and get acquainted with high qualified faculty and good competing environment, but the ones who already enrolled themselves in Diploma in Engineering right after their 10th board exam, they're already in vain, they work for meagre 10-15K per month after their graduation or become jobless, doing anything for a living.
Well not all private colleges are bad there are few prvt colleges like BITs (which as good as any top tier IIT probably a tier 1 college), then VIT and MIT (Main campus) which are way better than any NIT and bottom 10 IITs. But yeah it is really tough to get into these 3 colleges(especially in BITs which is as tough as getting an IIT) but getting into a top tier IIT is way more tougher. So guys who ever appearing for the JEE mains make sure to fill the form of these 3 colleges too. Getting CSE branch in these 3 colleges is really tough. Even more difficult than getting one in NITs.

Any sane person wouldn't even choose VIT over colleges like Thapar, RVCE, LNMIIT, DAIICT, COEP let alone over any NIT/IIIT.
Meanwhile my brother studied from Vit (pvt clg) but still managed to get 16 lpa!! At the end it ur skills ur will power ur confidence ur determination etc cmatters more then just exam marks!! whether u study from iit or any other clg

not every family runs after placements.... there are still some families left in india who want their children to be scientifically well educated and do higher studies, and that's why they want their kids to study in IIT...not for placements
@@AhmadK30 Average failed to get into IIT guy. IITs are one of the best in the country for Research purposes, the professors and well equipped labs are the things you won't get in most of the colleges except IISC, IISER or IIST.
