Thanks for the continued Veilguard coverage! I skipped over the Bellara scenes for spoilers, since I’m romancing her in my game. Any chance some lore videos would be in the cards?
My very first character was a male dwarf Gray Warden. I romanced Lace. I wanted to romance Lace in DA:I, but always went with one of the inner circle. For my Rook , the romance with Harding was perfect, especially given the events of her personal quest.
Romancing in veilguard is like attempting to have an affair will the wall, it might actually crack at some point, but only if you are hitting it with the pick axe each time, when you have a chance. it feels as if your character is desperate or as if your love interest is not getting the message. Ether way its not natural, feels forced, and, to be completely honest, none of them is that interesting to begin with. No wonder, that certain group of people are always lonely and desperate, the writers have no clue, how to get some in real life, they would rather dance around someone long enough for them to take pity on them, if they are lucky. This game is telling me much more about the people, who created it, instead of showing us the good story. You can't write the decent romance, while you have no significant experience in that area.
@ You actually watched the content for all these characters, who all have different writers (mostly married people who wrote past DA characters going back to Origins) , and determined that they’re all socially inept, or write like they’re socially inept? Surely if you have the exact same problem with all the romances, there’s an overarching issue in the process that isn’t the fault of every writer.
Yeah this says you were upset more about the subtle mentions of None binary and who wrote the the game than the actual romance I'm guessing you haven't played other DA games romance in these games have always been a talking point amongst fans , try less having a tantrum over the writers and just play and enjoy the game🤷♂️
Couldn’t agree more! Specially with “this game is telling me much more about the people, who created it, instead of showing a good story”… I just finished this game and this is the feeling I have
Zoe I recently finished my first playthrough of the remake of Resident Evil 4. I really enjoyed the game and consider both the original game and the remake to be even in terms of quality.
Emmerich is the one romance i will definitely keep doing that and bellara
Neve's roamance feels like the definition of slow burn
Taarala. That hit. 🎯 When the Dragonslayer says that you just know you're in it for the long haul.

If I romance NPCs in other games its not cheating, but in Thedas I am forever bound to Sera.

Not sure why you needed to resort to insulting the writers with the cadence of stevie from Malcolm in the middle

Yeah none romances seem super interesting to me except Lucanis. And to be honest I find his demon more interesting than him.
I didn’t get that scene with Tash is crazy blc I opened nd closed the game out nd still nothing
I was definitely not Harding in Hightown

Is there an option of killing Taash upon meeting her, the same way you could kill Zevran upon meeting him? (I didn’t kill Zevran. Zevran is a bro)
Nope, you kinda need her as an expert regardless or your personal feelings
Currently on my way to romance Bellara and then Neve afterward, if that is possible without angering the other 🫣
Can't be done in this game.
No need to worry. No matter what you do you can’t piss any of your companions off. No matter how bad you want to
