Thanks for the great advice! I'm sure it's much more difficult to build a sustainable business out of YTT! Just look at how much hard work you've put into BadYogi! Definitely a thumbs-up for a business video!
Heading to Rishikesh in northern India in September! Saved up for over a year and I'm really looking forward to it! 5 weeks of spiritual learning and then I can teach and do retreats after I return 💕✨🙏🏻✨💕
Thank you for this wonderful video! I am very curious about the business side of yoga. It would be fantastic if you could create a video explaining this aspect a little more. Thanks! :)
I've thought about it, I think I know enough about yoga to teach it, however I also know myself and people in general, I'm just not so sure I want to teach. But I try to inspire, by talking about the benefits and by doing yoga in public and posting videos about it online, today I did yoga on the lake on a paddle board, the weather was excptionally nice. Though I'm sure there are people interested in knowing how to make yoga into a business, I don't see that as a personal goal, I still wouldn't mind hearing about it.
I've been thinking about the YTT as a way to get more knowledge for myself about yoga and been thinking that is it enough of a reason to just go for it. But thanks for sharing your thoughts, maybe I'll get on with it in the future :)
Thank you for the video ! I have 2 options actually 1 Do a college degree like B.Sc yoga or BNYS. 2 Attend classes at a famed institution and do TTC - 200 hr, 500 hr - more practice Is a college degree more valuable or dependable (secure) compared to TTC. Will TTC make me a qualified instructor in any part of the world ?
Ive just started doing yoga on my own (about for a month or so) and I'm really into it. I really want to do a ytt in bali or so for 1 month not because i want to become a teacher but just to get to know more about yoga and do something good for my body. The thing is: i am 17 and I don't know if they'd let me join if I only got like 4 months under my belt (when the course starts). What do you think? Should I just try to contact the teacher and write a mail or do you think its not a great idea?
Michelle Shao Take more time to practice and learn yoga, as well as gain in life experience. Any school who would accept you as a student with this level of experience is not worth getting an accreditation from, and is likely to be selling certificates instead of training teachers. Best wishes going forward!

I've always wanted to take YTT, mostly to deepen my practice, especially when it comes to philosophy and fundamentals.
Great video explained very well!

Meditation books can help impart knowledge of the skill, try Practical meditation and The way and goal of Rajyoga from 'omshantistore'.
I would love to do it, but it's just so expensive and time-consuming.

I'm very curious about the business behind it. Also do you have suggestions on where to get certified?
Hey, thanks for the advice. Also, your videos are great. I want to make videos (vlogs), what program do you recommend??
