Making Newton's Cradle / Woodworking

Newton's Cradle is one of those desktop toys that everyone seem to have and I've always wanted to make my own version. Getting the spacing right on Newton's Cradle is a little tricky, but it's still a fun build.

I was thinking fishing line might work better, too. And my personal opinion is it would look nicer if the wood is stained dark. Cool project!
