Hi Steve, great to see the Bismarck looking better with each episode. Again a masterclass in photoetch work and painting. One comment on the "Wegerechtsrahmen" which is the cupboard- like piece stored right aft of the AA director 3: This is a folded frame (black or dark gray) that, when hoisted, indicates the right of way in narrow waters. I mentioned this in the last pdf I shared with you. Looking forward to see your beautiful model coming together. Can't wait to see all these carefully prepared subassemblies finally mounted on the model.
Glad to see the number of life rafts. I built the 1:350 platinum edition and there wasn’t nearly enough! Steve, I agree it’s sometimes easier to hand paint than to mask…
Hi Steve.....I noticed on the Part 22 when your putting the railings on the 2 rear Rang Finders that you didn't complete the full circular railing you left a gap above the latter runs? On the actual ship and the Anatomy of a Ship thats a complete circle with a missing piece of railing for access to the Range Finder...I figured you did it that way so you have start and fininish point? By the way great job!! It looks outstanding!! I have been following your lead , I'm working on rear Bulkheads now.
Pontos provide the railing such that there’s a gap around the platform circumference- I guessed (as you can’t tell from the instructions) that this was where the ladder access was so I did it like that.
Slowly but surely its' coming together. I'm learning a lot form your videos that I can use whenever I get around to building the kit of the Tirpitz I have. The Pontos instruction sheet is definitely lacking when it comes to where the parts you need are located, you shouldn't have to play 'hunt the penny' to find something. Looking forward to the next installment.
Hi Steve, I admire your modeling skills. In the excelsheet I sent you, you can see thet the railing numbers 38, 41, 43, 44 and 45 are not mentioned in the manual, so I guess it must be one of these,

Hi Ron great to hear from you 👍
Absolute craftsmanship Steve, I envy your patience, I'd have lost the plot and chewed a hole in the the desk.
I have a special part of the bench off camera that I bang my head on John 🤕

Thank you good luck with your tirpitz - just beware of the differences between the two ships if you’re following this 🤔
@@TheModelShed I am aware of the differences but thanks for the reminder.

Thanks Herman that helps narrow down the railing I’m looking for. Thanks also for the heads up about the hangar door detail 👍
You are fast with that drill Steve😂
Wish it was real time😃😃😬
Looking good..💞💞💞
Thanks Casey 👍
