When I say that the "Bible was written by man..." the believer responds: "...but it was inspired by God." I respond, and where did it say that????
Try to refer to them as, “Apologist” not “Belivers” because they don’t want to “Believe “ the truth.
If the Bible was inspired by The most High(God) than there be Justice for everyone. If we look truly into the world what we INJUSTICE!
My common sense told me that the good wisdom found in the Bible came from centuries of enlightened people who lived and learned by trial and error. Able to pass those experiences to generations thru written language. Such as the 32 laws of Ma'at. The divine Feminine principles from Africa long b4 Europeans changed that Feminine principle to the masculine bc they hated woman in ignorance. I agree!! People are accustomed to holding on to what they have been taught. I tried to enlighten my sister. she explained that she did not want to know or learning anything other than what she has been taught. She insisted that "Jesus" was all she had to depend on and she did not want to know anything else. I told her not to believe me...I instructed her since she was a believer that all she needed to do is sincerely pray and ask God to show her the truth and to reveal to her if I was telling her the truth. She replied, that she would not because she did not want to know anything other than what she was taught.

Eventhough the Council of Carthage was a local North African Council it became Universal when the decrees were added to the 6th ecumenical Council. One of the Canons of that council affirmed the Council of Carthage, and the Council of Carthage Affirmed not only a Canon of Scripture but also the Doctrine of Original sin.
It must be made known that Eastern Christianity differs from Western Christianity when it comes to the "Understanding" of what Original sin means. It also must be known that both the Augustinians as well as the Semi-Pelagians were at that council to combat the Pelagians. And as we know, the Augustinians and the Semi-pelagians had a different understanding about the condition of man.
Some Eastern Orthodox scholars have called the eastern christian understanding "ancestral sin". The reason why I mentioned this is because John Cassian came from the East to the West, and he as well as his followers were both at the council. So His understanding about the doctrine of Original sin would have been an Eastern One."
