My Mom always made bbq sauce from scratch growing up, everybody did. Easy base, ketchup, mustard, vinegar, brown sugar, all to taste….then add things like onion, honey, if you like. I remember her simmering it while grilling meat bc we didn’t have the fancy grills we have now. I did the same for years bc all the ingredients you normally have on hand…but in recent years started buying the Baby Rays for convenience. No measurements bc, it depends on how you like your sauce. Love the soup recipes! Here in the Southwest it's soup season too. My favorite time of year. I've tried a few of your recipes and am never disappointed. I received a Trader Joes recipe book for Christmas and am having fun going through it. I love cooking and baking from scratch but some of these 'throw together' recipes are so easy and still healthy and affordable. The latest soup I made was TJ's frozen potstickers and frozen stir fry vegetables with a broth base and Asian seasonings. I always really enjoy watching you cook and bake. Thanks Kim!

You can add another shelf to your wonderful pantry I used to have a huge pantry but I’ve downsized now Add it up and on the right hand side add part of shelf deeper to hold the larger items so that they won’t fall on little heads You can also add a lock to your pantry door when you have visitors to control them from going inside to help themselves Not to mention the safety of something falling but also someone eating something that they are allergic to Have a wonderful week ❤
I love your videos! You are so creative and funny. I live in Southern California and the cucumbers at my Costco are $6 and the avocados are $9. The avocados here used to be $6 9 months to a year ago. I want to cry when I see lower prices seemingly everywhere else. I miss having avocados weekly not here and there. Last week my daughter and I made a homemade creamy tomato soup. I have never liked tomato soup but she really wanted it. I actually used two different recipes as my inspiration. We used the canned San Marzano tomatoes from Costco in it. It was amazing! My husband has not been able to eat grilled cheese since he was in elementary school. He did love the paninis when we were in Italy, so we had it with roast beef and provolone “paninis”. It is on the menu plan again for this week. I don’t know if you have seen the weather coverage for so-cal but it has been raining so much. Soup and chili have really been hitting the spot.

Quinoa recipe that even picky kids love. I make stuffed peppers using cooked quinoa instead of rice. So good! Even hubby loves it (and he’s not a fan of quinoa).
I love soups! I use cauliflower rice instead of regular rice in my stuffed pepper soup and add some creole seasoning... so good as a low carb meal and I honestly can't tell it's cauliflower.

I make my own BBQ sauce. Super simple and I change it up every time I make it. Main parts are Ketchup & Worcestershire. Then I add some seasonings, brown sugar, salt & pepper, herbs, onion, garlic, maybe BBQ seasonings (or rub) then add some honey or maple syrup depending on what I'm making. My family loves it and my kids love picking if I lay em all out, they help decide what it's going to taste like, makes it fun 😁 ❤

Try air frying the Kirkland breakfast sandwiches makes them amazing! Also Kinders Boubon Peach BBQ sauce is amazing!
