🐷 The Piggery...
The Hamburger looked so perfect.
That hint of char around the edges of the bun
A slice of bacon stop the burger...
Then the water and Park scenes
Breath -takenly beautiful
And Life- giving sustaining
So enjoyed this video. West Seattle! Boyhood home of Jim and Lou Whittaker! Jim was the expedition leader and the first American to climb Everestin 1963. His brother Lou still owns Rainier Mountaineering that's guided thousands of climbers to the summit of Mount Rainier in the last fifty years. So enjoyed your clips of their old neighborhood. What a treat!
I agree with you there 💯 #1 stock up on granos de café. Love that beautiful ground covering. Foodi yummm. You never cease to amazed me with all that natural beauty/scenery
Beautiful water so real. Thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching :^)
Once again, great video. Thanks for sharing!
Lincoln park is a nice place to chillax. I like the trail and watching the ferry.😊
Hike On oh no! I think I said “jefferson” park. Oh well.
One of these days I need to take my home on a ferry ride.
I needed an S.C. video to watch and I couldn't wait any longer!
A new video will be up today at 4:30
@@StaticCamperVan I Enjoy watching the older stuff as well.
That burger and fries looked goooooood 😍 That taco dish too 😍😍 What a chilled, foodie Sunday 👌🏾
I want to know how much gluten and cruelty was in the burger in case I want to try one.
Many glutens. And I imagine horrific cruelty.
You make it sound too good to be true!
Your videos are always excellent. Thanks for the tour!
Whoa, I'm sitting here eating my usual breakfast yogurt and cereal and dying from hamburger/awesome fries envy. Although eating a hamburger and fries at nine in the morning sounds almost as weird as eating breakfast for dinner. Except that I love having breakfast for dinner. Life is so complicated! Guess I'll just have coffee instead. Because my coffee is always good. Lovely video again - such awesome views. 👍🏽
Coffee is always the correct decision.
On off days we like to sleep in too. Weather getting warm quick.
Our days of sleeping in are getting numbered. But I’m So happy to have warmer weather back!
@@StaticCamperVan so true. We had to open windows at 7am +too warm) so couldn't sleep much longer this am. No complaining though 😎😎😎
Cool place. Next time I'm in the area, I'll have to check it out. Thanks for sharing your spot. That hamburger looked awesome!
My favorite apple is Honey Crisp
nice tour, it like a mini sight seeing Trip 😅 check out 12 volt rice cooker on Amazon it has A cat on the front. I was skeptical about it but it works Great
It the size of a large cantaloupe
It come with a cup,. You put one cup basmati rice and 2 cups water comes out perfect. If you are using Jasmine it one cup rice to 1 1/4 cup water.
Thanks for the tip.
Nice to see such a beautiful day on a Sunday. I hate it when all the pretty days ate work days.
We are having a lot of nice days lately here in Seattle.
Another beautuful area. Thank you for showing us your beautiful city.
Loved the neighborhood scenery and water scapes. And that burger made my mouth water! Thanks for sharing the beauty!
Mr. Static, you have the *best* cityscape vids in YT land...always gorgeous and beckoning. And, oh, my! The food flyovers! Always love your food shots. Have a great week...:-)
:^)
I've been thinking about moving to Seattle but I really don't know anybody that lives there when i get my van id definitely like to go up there and spend some time there. 😊
West Seattle is the nicest area, in my opinion. ✌🏼
For a West Seattle treat, I was told to check out Bonnie B's Peppers. But I never get to town, so maybe when you are there... (Looked 'em up--actually the Pickled and Preserved Deli is in Burien.)
I shall look them up. Thanks.
That looked better than inout burger lol but i know that that beef will not digest easy, but i never care as long as it taste good!
Hey, I just stumbled across your channel and really enjoyed your video. I'm a West Seattle native, I love the Swinery! I have a small business owner and 47th and Admiral called Alki Mail and dispatch. Stop by sometime and I'll treat you to one of our delicious coffees!
Thanks so much! What a great looking shop you have. I wish I knew of you before. I will definitely stop in next time I’m in the area.
Hey Campervan, good video, good tour guide, cheers on the coffee, tc
Thanks. This did feel oddly like a tour video, haha.
Nice Video and WS tour, there are a couple of hidden gem areas/places to mention. Near Alki is the trail through Schmitz Park (the only old growth forest in all Seattle left), of course Lincon Park near the Fauntleroy Ferry which is pretty amazing, and a pretty cool launching site to Vashon Island which I recommend highly.
Not sure if you have checked out C & P Coffee along California Ave, a quaint older WS House converted into a coffee shop (sometimes someone will break out a guitar or uke and you have a little concert)…
Great recommendations, thanks. C+P has been in several of my videos. I still go there, just don’t video it anymore as it is one of my hangouts.
Great park!! Used to go there all the time!! Also I worked there for about 10 years... It is the old home of Lockheed Shipyards!!! Yard 2
Nice video Scott... Thanks Man... Worked with a guy from Mexico he said the best Mexican food is from those trucks.
Take Care
City views are nice but I like the more wild side the best - good if you can park near, then you can sit and enjoy and maybe brew coffee and cook up something yourself.
Another great vid! Olympic National Forrest I’ve been to....here in the north east we have the Adirondack Park which a good portion is privately owned.
El Chupacabra in West Seattle has great Mexican food!
Looks like a nice place in the west part. Now that was some burger. Great video once again.
I want another one of those burgers right now!
Great vlog
Tacos! Gotta have good tacos!
Michael Woods tacos Guyamas Is the bomb.
You know when you leave our Cali good Mexican food is hard to find. Pretty location you picked to enjoy those yummy looking tacos.
If I had known that fact, I might have never left!
Mr. Static, I apologize for taking so long to view your video, but I had to keep watching those flat earth videos after seeing the first one on Saturday. That reminds me, you need to be very careful up there in Seattle; you are not that far from the edge. Nice view of Seattle from that quaint park off of the water. But unlike NASA, you are capable of panning your camera 180*. Nice video, by the way.
No worries and Thank you. So, you’ve found the flat earth videos, too? They make a lot of sense, those flat earth folks. Oh, thanks for pointing out my proximity to the edge. One can never be too careful.
When you shot that Lamborghini my mind immediately thought of the juxtaposition of a van dweller and the obscene costs of that car and how it could sustain your average van dweller for life many times over.
Ha! Great point. I included the clip of the Lambo because of a video from my friends Wandering Patches.

What a beautifull day,i am guessing you don!t get that often? On the coffee,Espresso blend i guess because it is a blend it cuts down on the bitter taste.? Glad you had a great day. Thanks for sharing. Also enjoy the week ahead.🍎✌
It’s a misconception that there’s always clouds and rain here in Seattle. We have had a lot of nice sunny days lately.
Good espresso isn’t bitter. The idea that espresso is bitter is a Starbucks thing. Really good espresso is complex but also sweet. The blend is about flavor profile.
Nice! That brought back some memories. :-)
Macintosh, Golden Delish & Gala are my 3 fav apples.
Montreal Canadians’ hockey team logo. Burger looked really good.
That burger and fries looked amazing ! I've ridden my bicycle a hundred times right by that park entrance..didn't realize it was there till now ;-) The Metropolitan Market is spendy but they have some really good food..if you like banana pudding..theirs is amazing..I've ridden my bicycle 12 miles each way to get some..it's that good !
A lot of the local van dwellers park up at Jack Block for the day.
That must be some mighty fine banana pudding!
Great fresh Mexican food can be found on 85th …Gorditos.
Wot, no StaticDay? But looks a great StunDay! Spicy Pork and Spork! Best Burger! Top 3 Coffee :-) Shame about the apple...my favourite apple is a banana! Keep up the good 'work' Scott :-)
I did stay in bed all morning. One can only be so static.
Great day man
I thought that was you in West Seattle the other day. I was parked a few hundred feet in front of you.
You was in West Seattle, too? Cool.
Haha I was going to tell you to go down fontlaroy and look for a taco truck at the gas station!!!
Who would think a gas station taco truck would be so good?!
They are opening a second location soon. Not sure exactly where.
Good for them!!! I am actually working on a job about 10 blocks from there tomorrow I will stop and have a couple tacos... been a while since I have been that close!!!
Love your van, I got one like that 👍🏽 good on gas ⛽️qdoba that’s the Mexican spot ..
Cool ✌🏼
Its essential to find those great food places. I need a go to sushi restaurant, Mexican food, vegetarian burger spot and then I'm good.
Your beard is on point today.
Thanks!
@@StaticCamperVan His beard is 30% caffeine by weight.
Great video! Always like your information you put out there. No good Mexican places is a bummer for sure. Anyway, Jefferson Park looks nice. That's my last name so, I must visit there some day. HA! Keep the videos coming my man. Stay safe! 2 Thumbs up!
Your park is well liked!
Once again, Scott, you are showing a local new places.
As to Mexican food, I'm not a good judge of the food but I really like a place called "Todo Mexico". They have a few branch restaurants but the original is at 19th and Ballinger Way just off the 205th I-5 exit. Lots of Mexicans eating there too.
As to burgers I can recommend "Fat Smitty's" at the bottom of Discovery Bay on US 101 west of Port Townsend on the way to Sequim.
Good intel. I shall keep them in mind. Thanks!
Yum! I could go for some tacos. Have you tried Envy Apples? Probably not tart enough for you if you're into Granny Smiths.
Just recently tried Envy apples. They are good but, you’re correct, I prefer a little more tartness.
My favorite way to cook coffee. >> 0:18
Burger food always turns into a huge mess or something "Big Swinery" >> 5:22
commercial retail space is very expensive for startup unless you got big bucks its not going to happen.
Herbert Erickson not sure what you are referring to but, Thanks.
why there are not many new restaurants or small resturants it takes lots of money.
West Seattle was the first place I lived in when I moved here. Love it, but hardly recognize anything anymore, it's gotten so built up.
Hamburger, haven't had one in Yrs
I have been a subscriber for a while but have never commented. I am from canada and I am heading out to Port Townsend to collect a camper I bought on Craig’s list in August, what is the name of the burger place you had that amazing burger. BTW I will definitely visit west Seattle and check out the swinery and tacos also. Maybe we can meet up and I can buy you dinner to say thanks for making your videos?
It’s called the Owl Spirit Cafe. It’s close to the ferry terminal.
Congrats on your camper purchase! Thanks for the offer. Send me an email, it’s always nice to meet up.
Static CamperVan thanks for quick response, what’s the best email to use and I put you in my address book. Have a great day 🤠
Staticcampervan@gmail.com
Thanks I will drop you an email with later, thanks for sharing :-)
Have you tried "Fogon" in Capitol hill?
Never heard of it. Thanks, I’ll keep it in mind.
Nice tacos, but can they make a cheap steak taste delicious? A thin little meatie that is gone too fast.
👍🏾
west seattle=best seattle
From the thumbnail I thought you got a toad for your rig. Burger looked great. Don't they have Taco Bell out there?
I’d rather not tow.
Taco Bell?! I’m very disappointed in you, Steve.
@@StaticCamperVan I think he meant to say "Harbor Taco", where the tools are scared and the men are famous.
Wait ? What ? A Habs sticker makes you think your in the right place ? Akkk, said the Jets fan. Actually I'm looking forwards to the team Seattle is urging together.
I’m a casual hockey viewer these days. Actually, I don’t remember the last time I’ve watched a game. Be well my friend.
You ate your tacos in Lincoln Park, not Jefferson Park... just sayin
Sorry about that! Didn’t even realize the mistake until a couple hours ago.
No apology required - enjoyed your tour of our neighborhood
👍🍎🍔🍟☕🌁🌊✌
😊✌🏼
I feel so low watching you shop and brew your high end coffee as I drink my "great value" brand coffee (Walmart).
I usually get super annoyed when youtubers eat, chew, and stick their half eaten food up to the camera, but that hamburger and fries looked so good, I give you a total pass. In fact I may go back and replay it.
"West Seattle" does not appear to dying like "Seattle Seattle".
Hahaha. It’s good coffee if you like it.
I don’t think that documentary was entirely accurate. Or if it is, the title should be changed to “Every major west coast city is dying”.
There was too much gratuitous coffee pornography mentioned in this video. Are you working for the Columbian Coffee Cartel now?? By the way, I used the washroom on Pacific & 11th at the Starbucks in Tacoma recently. I bought a coffee just to use the washroom but I dumped it down the drain. The good news was that the washroom was clean and nobody robbed me.
Linescrew1 haven’t you heard, they accept you if you buy anything or not. Enjoy the restroom for free!!!! 😜
@@Sharpslaw I'm Canadian. I must spend to get. It's the polite Capitalist way!
Linescrew1 You were raised right Andrew. My dad was like that too! He always said "gotta buy something it's only polite." 😳
Dumping S***bucks coffee down a drain is perhaps the best decision you’ve ever made.
You're sooooo successful!
......not to be rude.......have you developed any medical/health probs with this steady diet of coffee/burgers/fries/pizza/deserts, etc.......?.......you must have amazing physical fortitude to enjoy such decadence without penalty........i allow myself coffee.......but, am 'watchful' concerning food choices.......to, hopefully, make up for my 'extravagance'........notta troll......just wonderin'........🙋♀️
The honest answer is, I simply don’t know how healthy or unhealthy I am since I haven’t been to a doctor in over 15 years.
The fact is, the food you see in my vlogs is not typical for the rest of the week. Most of the week, my diet is mostly vegetarian and usually very simple meals.
@@StaticCamperVan ......yeah......your physic does not match the food choices on your vids........so glad, those choices are not the 'norm'.......people like you and want you to take care of yourself.......don't want all the nice people to 'keel'.......☕
@@StaticCamperVan .....btw.......i don't visit the doctor either.....and i definitely don't take any pills.....just sayin'......:)
Mexican food? So simple to make a trained monkey can make that poor man's slop.
Thanks for the interesting sights though...
Real Mexican food isn’t simple. Unfortunately very few know anything about the real deal Mexican food. It’s a shame.
