Just got my permit yesterday at 26 years old. Always been scared about driving. But your videos are super helpful. Can’t wait to actually drive for the first time ever!
this is the first video ive watched where i didn’t feel anxious while thinking about driving. watching these videos makes it feel possible for me, someone who’s absolutely terrified of driving. thank you so much.
I really just wanna thank you so much for all of your helpful videos. I FINALLY got my license today, passed the first time :)) However my instructor was really rude and his yelling made me tensed, but other than that it went by a breeze thanks to you. I definitely will recommend your channel to the drivers ed teachers at my school to maybe hopefully show it to the class in their lessons. Thank you again
I have to show this video to my mom. So a while back when I first started practicing we were making a turn but I was to close to the curb. So I proceeded to back up but my mom all of a sudden started yelling stop and I got confused and scared and stepped on the gas. Then we rolled up on to the curb. It could have been worse but now I don't mix the two up
You are an angel, such a good teacher. This month I will get my DL here in the US. Praying that I pass both written and actual and more importantly, always be safe on the road.
I'm going to be taking my driving road test on March 7th. And I'm feeling very excited and confident that I would be comfortable enough to get behind the wheel and start driving it barely took me 5 months of practicing how to drive a car. And after watching this video it making me work even harder. I am determined to get my driver's license and pass that road test.
What would I do without your driving videos! You understand the noobie driver psyche so so well and give spot on advices. So thankful that my husband introduced me to your videos. I am struggling with overcoming my driving fear. I almost freeze on highways and forget my basics. :( but I hope to get there slowly but surely.
I love how you showed us different, which is even more positive, attitude when it comes to driving between big vehicles or at night or on highway! I really appreciate that so much because a difference in mindset really changes a lot!
I have just started taking lessons for driving and I am so glad I came across your videos so helpful . All your points are from the drivers point of view. I feel confident now thanks a lot.
Just took my girlfriends out for a spin (with her permission) and it was fine. Driving is alot easier by yourself when you dont have someone yelling at you lol
Thanks for all you do i have been watching all your videos they are very informative easy simple to understand and straight to the point.I also like your positive attitude may God continue to bless you am really learning alot
you're very correct on the part with the shoes I always have trouble with my work shoes practicing driving it's better I use Converse cuz they're more thin and feel the pedals better and work shoes have more bulk to them
I have fear of practicing driving due to being unlicensed and worrying about the police, but what I hear from one of my parents is that they only way to learn to drive and go get my license is get some experience on the highway but again the two reasons I explained is exactly why.
I learnt driving at dawn time with my dad, it took me months to feel confident enough to drive in unknown places and highways, the car was a 2006 Kia Rio manual Pro tip: if your da gets angry fast don't learn driving with him!
Is it better to use only one foot for both Accelerator and Brake or two separate feet? What are the rules of driving from a single lane road onto a multi lane road? When you are parking on the right and take the car a bit to the left so you can enter the parking spot perfectly, do we need to give any kind of signal? What are the things should you be checking before you move to the left before parking on the right side?
Another restriction that you get on a learners permit that you didn’t mention is that you may be forbidden to use a cellphone or any kind of hands-free device unless it’s an emergency.
Actually, a cellphone is forbidden for everybody. But yes, like I say in the video, there are lots of restrictions depending on where you drive. These are just some examples.
@@adamgenez In Canada and the US, it is illegal to drive while using a cell phone. Usage doesn't even mean holding it... just looking at the screen can get you a $500 to $10,000 fine. The fine depends on where you live. Also, unless you're an L or N driver, you can use the GPS of the phone. But, only if it is affixed to the car. I have heard of tickets given to people looking down at the GPS of their phone.
WaldoBC in my area, with my class license, there are no laws that are gonna stop me from using my phone. The one exception would be in specified areas that prohibit use of them, like school zones.
@@adamgenez You stated, "there are no laws..." Is this because the laws don't exist where you live or because you're going to outright ignore them. What state/province/country do you live in? You stated, "one exception would be in specified areas that prohibit the use of them". I would think that would mean all roadways according to your laws. 40% of all accidents involve a cellphone. A driver who is texting is as impaired as a driver with a .16 blood-alcohol level and drivers talking on cell phones are half a second slower to hit the brakes in emergencies and miss more than half the visual cues seen by attentive drivers.
Ahh been watchin ur vids I love em, U explain it so well! But am so scared too go get my license 😩 I have a permit but still need my license ! How do I overcome my fear?... 😭😭
@ 3:14 The electronic E-brake or parking brake can be used and is quite powerful. Just keep lifting it up. Carlos, what dashcam do you recommend as an instructor?
Hey, I watch your videos all the time, and I was wondering if you could do a video on roundabouts? I have looked for videos about turning through them, but they only have the rules. I just really need some help on how much I have to turn the wheel and such so I don't hit other cars, as I haven't yet driven in any sort of traffic, and I struggle keeping my car far enough left because of fear of hitting the oncoming cars.
Hi. Can you drive bare feet? i got my license for years now and was wondering is there a danger to it. I have full control of the car and feeling in the pedals.
It's forbidden in some places. Even if there's no law that forbids it directly, there are laws that basically state that you can't drive in any condition that hinders the good control of the vehicle, and that's covered under that law.
we don't get a learner's permit so i have no way to practice :(( so i'm not getting better and i don't like my instructor because i feel like he doesn't teach me anything. it just makes me really confused.

Good Luck!
4:03 this is the biggest thing for me. thank you for the tips here.
Probably the biggest mistakes learners make. It happens with practically every one of them.
Thank you for sir.

Am 30 and afraid of driving I have driven on open dirt roads where there’s no lanes or other cars but that’s very different
Perfect video thanks.
How are you not teaching in a school?

But you have no control over the tension, which can be dangerous. I use a KDLinks X1 and a Yi Dashcam.
You good teacher👌

Hi, how do I maintain my speed when stepping on the accelerator/gas, the car usually jerk off when I step on the pedal
Same here
You either step too hard or your accelerator cable is dirty.
Sir what about naked foot... In my country we learners training with naked foot.. In our first month
Not recommended. I'll explain that in one of the next videos since I got some comments on that.
