Manisha was the best of the lot! Especially she played someone who is so contrasting from her real life self. The Manisha on screen was so different from in this interview. She is gorgeous in every frame
Other two actors which I feel that really do well are Sanjeeda and Richa(although less screentime which i hate). Everyone did well though

Sonakshi is good but the script lets her down. It would have been fascinating if she remained evil and cunning throughout the series. Her character’s sudden change of heart doesn’t make sense at all. It would have been great if Fareedan was shown as the most formidable enemy of Mallika Jaan.
@@jahangirhussain1 how does it not make sense? She is the one that wanted the gora to punish Manisha character but did not imagine him and his dogs doing what they did to Manisha. Sonakshi character had been a victim to forced sex when she was little so she understood the pain of it. If anything it made her character stronger when this softer side of her was shown.

The actor who played Aalamzeb was a bad choice tbh. She’s completely expressionless. Such a missed opportunity. didn't expect her to have such a big role in the series. just imagine if Mr. Bhansali took a great actor instead of her what a treat it would have been to watch!

Absolutely loved the series and highly recommend to people who love slow burn type of shows. The only thing that disappointed was the casting of sharmin. Wasted such a good storyline by her performance.
Conversely, I would say she was brilliant in her role. Her character required that poised and reserved mannerisms... She nailed it in my opinion...

i am hugely disappointed with sharmin's performance. it is like a constant cardboard expression.
Finally someone said that. Rest of the ladies were outstanding but Sharmin's acting was bad very bad. Expression was zero, and dialogue delivery really sucked.

Sanjeeda’s character was the most complex. You don’t expect that when the series begins but she goes through so much in the show. Also no one expected much out of her because she’s from tv. But she so superb in performance. I loved Malikajan as well. Her character also surprised us throughout the show.

1- Richa's Lajjo - extremely nuanced (kumm role tha but yaadgar tha)
2- Manisha's Malikajan - graceful yet powerful (jaan daal di show mein)
3- Taha's Tajdar - charmingly driven (best male performance show ki)
4- Sona's Fareedan - intoxicating expressions (best of Sonakshi as of now after Lootera)
5- Aditi's Bibbojan - breathtakingly beautiful 08:11 (can't imagine anyone else as Bibbojan)
6- Sanjeeda's Waheeda - most realistic (I could relate to her the most)
7- Sharmin's Alamzeb - poised & elegant (she was spot on as Alam)
Special mentions: Satto & Phatto Bi (Jayati Bhatia, Nivedita Bhargava), Saima (Shruti Sharma), Indresh Malik (Ustaad)
