Beautiful Matthew. I love the marble and the finish. I own the same TV, the Sony a 80 J oled 77 inch. I’m really enjoying the TV couldn’t be happier. Great video keep them coming.
Cool, thanks!
I did a basic Atmos system in my living room and I'm thinking of just going with a pair of speakers instead. For the news or casual TV stereo seems fine and I always watch a movie in the dedicated space anyways. My speakers aren't inwalls so it also is an aesthetic thing, your inwall setup is much cleaner. Are you going to treat your living room? Make sure you get an extra pair of those LCRs to store away in case they ever fail, since you cut the marble for them!
🥲I would've liked for you to film the locations of all the speakers like the center as you talked about them. But looks amazing, cant wait to see the whole home theater.
Thanks for sharing the videos. You have a great set-up and I appreciate hearing about the thoughts behind the decisions/compromises that seem to serve you and your family well.
Thanks for watching!
I’m having problems with arc genersis when calibrating. Also the values for crooxover as 20 hz when it should have been 80 in all the speakers. Also phasing alignment disparadere. Help please
Hi, Matt I have Polk Reserve series speakers, the R700 towers 38Hz-- 38Khz, the R400 center 48Hz - 39KHz, and the R200 Bookshelf 51Hz - 38KHz what cross over settings do you suggest for these speakers? I'm very new to home theater.
I would probably still do 80hz. You could do a lower number on the towers, but honestly I would stick with 80hz for dynamic range and optimal bass quality.
Realistic decor friendly treatments for the living room theater audience would be welcome video. Also is that a polished concrete floor?
That it is!
what has happened to new content?
minimalist???? lmao!
it's not?
@@PoesAcoustics The term "minimalist" means, living without. There is nothing minimalist about a millionaires granite walled house, touch free fire place and giant big screen tv. Ghost, vanishing, or hidden audio system would be more accurate terms.
@@freeradical6390 that isn’t correct. That is a co-opting of the term that’s come recently by millennials who try to justify spending material assets on experiences over stuff as if it’s superior or better.
The term minimalism refers to an aesthetic movement in the 50’s that was part of art and architecture. It refers to visual sparseness and simplicity. Not lack of stuff.
“a style or technique (as in music, literature, or design) that is characterized by extreme spareness and simplicity” is this dictionary definition of the term and it’s the only definition listed. No mention of living without stuff.
What you are describing is better characterized by the Japanese movement of Danshari, which in Buddhism included both aesthetic and physical minimalism.
@@PoesAcoustics Ok I see your point. Ether way, its a "free country" lol, so you can live however you want. I do appreciate the effort that goes into a ghost system like yours.
@@freeradical6390All your freeradicals got educated hard, it appears. 😂
