- Solving the #Quordle for Friday, March 4th.
Quordle is like #wordle times 4! You have to solve four words simultaneously, and each guess applies to all four words.

It was a really gnarly round for me too - NANNY and AFFIX weren't easy at all, with the triple use of a letter and the elusive X.
For real! Even STUFF had a double letter!
I didn't get AFFIX it was so weird having so many grey letters
I guessed preety quick nanny but affix was imposible for me
I remember doing an octordle and one of the words was MAMMA

Make sure you pay attention to the coloring of double letters. Both 'F's were yellow, so you knew there was a second 'F' in the second word.
In my experience, Quordle is best solved, starting with as many different letters as possible in the first 3-4 words and then going on from there. But this might not be the most interesting strategy to display on the channel, as there will probably be an ideal set of starting words then.
I'm excited to see, how you will approach this in the future. Also, would you be willing to do a video on 11 letter wordle just for fun? Might be best to make a short out of it and cut all the time thinking about different 11 letter words though. :D
My start for quordle is soare, fight, blimp, and junky. It wipes out pretty much every letter and if I still need some more I can always do cowed or crowd, but it’s kind of boring to do it all the time lol
I start with PUDGY BLACK FORTH MINES and it works really well

I always start with “route” and “daily” to get all the vowels plus y in my first two quordle guesses. It generally works fairly well for me!

My first two are usually adieu and booty for the same reason.
Also even if I have a lot of greens I never go and try and solve it after the first guess. I go with my other combo words to tell me the other letters. If you had tried to solve NANNY on the second guess instead of going with OILER, you might’ve tried NAGGY NAPPY or whatever words can fit there, which would’ve really screwed your up

I saved this video for later because I was anticipating solving this puzzle tonight in a group and didn't want to spoil it. (We also got it eventually, thanks to lucky funny start words.)
Got this one in 5764 (left to right on your screen). I got lucky starting with an ST word which lead me to guess FLING on my third and that really opened up the board. Knowing that the word starts with A and has an F in second or third stumped me for a long while, but there's only one horrific word for that.

@@RubyPiec You misunderstand entirely lol. He means that the Nanny was the 5th guess, Affix was the 7th guess, Cling was the 6th guess and Stuff was the 4th guess. Kinda thought it was obvious.

This was the first Quordle I ever failed. Ridiculous with two FF words and three Ns in one word. Got everything except nanny, I got to the last guess and guessed manna.
I managed to get it in 5746 on the order of your screen - trace, loins, then dumpy is my usual start and then I managed to get lucky guessing nanny on a whim. You came to the conclusion of AFFIX far faster than me though, which is quite impressive. Great video!
Todays Quordle was tough! I got it in nine. I usually do TUBES FLING CHAMP WORDY.

do glent, brick, jumpy, vozhd,(yes it is a word) and waqfs(this is also a real word) it covers every letter except x and you only get one chance to get it. please try it sometime

Is there a such word as chumb
I start with WALTZ, FJORD, QUICK, NYMPH and GYRES or BEAST. This eliminates many letters and gives 80% or more chance to figure out all the words in the remaining 4 attempts.
Literally got the words in the same order and same number of guesses
For wordle and this I always do “arise” and follow up with “blunt” or “block”
Got it in 8.
The double Fs helped a lot between the words, as did my random BUNNY guess.
For wordle start with clues its not that bad trust me
I failed this one. was one guess off AFFIX, i had no clue there was an X. I got NANNY from pure luck lol.
I always start with YACHT. If there's no H it eliminates a few double consonant combinations. Usually I follow with RULES and DOING to check for the remaining vowels and common combination letters. I managed this one in 8 moves.
I usually go CRANE SPOIL THUMB, all unique and covers most of the common letters
Audio is a good one for vowels

Affix got me, this is a hard one
For wordle do glent, brick, jumpy, waqfs, vozhd it gets you every letter but x but you need to get in one try it also works for quordle dordle and octordle
My usual openers are LANCE SWORD FIGHT or CLEAR SOUND FIGHT followed by BUMPY if necessary. I had a similar situation with the double F from STUFF helping with the second word, which might just be a 1/1,000,000 occurance to have double F appear twice lol
For quordle, octordle, and sedecordle I almost always start with:
Ratio
Mends
Lucky
Bough
Ratio
There are much better words to start with
I use:
Glent
Jumpy
Brick
Vozhd
Waqfs
Believe it or not, they are all real words. They eliminate every letter except X and always give you just enough guesses to get all the words

I got 14 of 16 today in sedecordle
When he was saying I need a word with a "n" in the third position and an "f" I wss saying "fancy!fancy!"
The double yellow Fs in stuff should have been a huge clue to getting affix, but it didn't seem like you recognized that there was going to be 2 Fs.
Only got 3/4 on today's Quordle. The tripe n in NANNY really threw me off haha
Use the words Glenn, brick, jumpy, vozhd, waqfs for the next wordle please trust me I promise it works

i do pluck, ghost, jimmy, then drave. they’re all different letters and you get all the letters. then if you don’t have enough i do “bowed” or “funny”
just start with lawns, peach, milky, frogs and buddy
I use FIEND as one of my starters so the F didn't cause me a problem, but I never managed to get NANNY - first time seeing a triple use of a letter
You could’ve done affix a bit easier if you realised that having two yellow F’s means there is two F’s in the word

I swear the quordle is harder than the octordle
I got affix right as you typed in "cling"
For quordle I use:
Glent
Brick
Jumpy
Vozhd
Waqfs
This then gives you 25 letters and most probably all the letters in each word
Yeah it’s a good one. I don’t do it cuz it takes most of the fun out of it…
I use oiler to start with on the Canadian wordle

Taser as my starting word helped a bunch
I always start with the combo nanny + affix and it worked wonders that time. Only win so far. Haven't won since.

really easy way to solve every quordle is to start with STORY FINED WHUMP BLACK. From there you have almost every letter and solve each one individually
That’s a good combo. TUBES FLING CHAMP and WORDY give the same result.
I use: TRACE SPOIL FUNKY as a 3 word combo, I guess. I only use 3 words as I still want a few guesses left to boil down my possibilities to one.

What is the benefit of not putting a word in as soon as it's known? You have the same number of guesses either way.
No real benefit as long as you're sure. But if I'm not confident, then it might be better to wait.
