I was interested in Dice Hospital before. I tried it on Tabletopia and you're right about the scoring. This one just feels more thematic as you mentioned. The downside of this campaign though is the cost of the so-called 'Deluxe' edition. The Monorails do not look good and kind of pointless much like the ambulances in DH 'Deluxe' edition. I'll be missing on the mini-expansions if I don't back it. IT would be $81 plus shipping w/ the deluxe edition. The base game is about the same price range as Dice hospital was but you could get it much cheaper online. For nearly $30 for silly minis and extra content is kind of pricey. $15-20 might be more reasonable, but i'm not a marketer so I don't know.
I think a good dice game involves ROLLING dice... it's hard to get excited about standard worker placement with one dice roll at the start of each round
I think in Euro games you will find that rolling a die once, or even just using it for its sides and not rolling it at all, is a pretty normal mechanic.
@@rawkyle9385 how many of those euros have the word DICE in the title? it just seems weird that it's marketed as a dice game. i like Troyes but if it was called DICE FRANCE i might expect a bit more rolling
Great video. Looks like Dice Theme Park may be more my speed and I find the theme more entertaining.
It's my preferred of the two.
Thanks for the sum up. I wont back because I used my money on games this year allready. But had to see, what I’ll miss out on 🙂
Nice haircut btw.
I hate brushing it forward! :P

Nah I admit that is pretty pricey!
I was interested, and then I say the price on the KS page. For the game depth and components, it's way too much for my liking.
It is a bit pricey I admit.

I would prefer a different naming structure, that's for sure. Pulsar 2849 didn't need to put Dice in the title.
