I have a mark 3 IVECO daily and I am going to see if I can change the gear stick from the floor , I have the brackets from the top of the gear box that the selector cables go to but I am wondering what size is the hole in the floor and which cable from the gear shift goes to gearbox

Could a wobbly shift selector like yours be a reason for it to not go into reverse?
Where you move it into reverse but it’s actually 4th?
