Another option for parchment circles is purchasing pre cut ones. Just don't buy them from Wilton because of their Infinite Wisdom they sell circles that are 8 inches in diameter and then I'm fine print on the boxes for 9 in pans so they are currently selling some 9-inch pans that are a bit smaller than most and about 8 in across at the bottom.
