The Catcher In The Rye is one of Jinyoung's fav book hehe both JJP love reading, Jinyoung pick up this hobby from JB ^^ The whole album are really life/youth-related. Jinyoung said he wrote Coming Home (the #1 track in the album) when he missed his parents while listening to song on airplane :') both JJP in general are really poetry-ish, deep haha so this album really represent and resembles their true colours. I really couldn't ask for more.

I also spotted catcher in the rye, which I believe fits really well with the theme of both the song and the MV. Catcher in the rye is basically a book about directionless youth struggling to find a place in the world.

It's Japan where they filmed! Famous road. It's referred to as the roller coaster road. Love the entire album. I listen to it all the time still. Hoping they do another one before they enlist. This was a 5 yr Anniversary for JJP.
Coming back here after they left JYPE, this video hits differently. I used to hope for a JJP comeback, but now, even more than that, I long for a GOT7 comeback. I miss their chemistry, their diverse colours, and their insane crackheadedness. Still holding out for a JJP comeback someday, though!
I clicked this notification so fast lol 😂 I also was not expecting a tempo as slow as the one in this song, but I really liked that they came back with a song like this. It made me feel super emotional, especially being such a huge fan of GOT7 &I JJ Project. Also, I'm not 100% sure but I think the video was shot in Japan, because they both stayed there for some time while preparing for the JJP comeback. BTW if you haven't listened to the other songs from this comeback yet, I recommend that you do so ASAP! In my opinion, there is not one bad song on that album. (I know it's just JJP, but tbh it's better than half of GOT7's early discography.)

im very glad that they have matured to this sound. Personally, bounce didn't really intrigue me that much, but I will say that the verse #2 album is on my top 3 favorite albums in all genres. There is not a song on the album that I don't like. Each song sticks with the overall theme in terms of meaning and sound. Both jinyoung and jaebum bring their own uniqueness to the songs as well. And I love the overall aesthetic of the album and how many 'normal' people can relate to it visually (like the mv) and lyrically. I also loved how they were able to have their solo songs in the album because it really allowed them to display their individual style. haha, although jjp is already kind of like a solo project where they can break away from the got7 sound, the solo songs add another layer and opportunity for them to break away and show what they can do. And jaebum already releases solo songs so you can kind of already get to know his style, but jinyoung does not and i was very glad to hear how good 'the day' was. the day is probably my favorite song on the album. And you can really see how different fade away (jb's solo) is from the day, showing their different individual styles. But yeah, verse #2 will always have a special place in my heart. it's one of those albums that put you in a certain mood and gives off a spring/summer vibe but in a very nostalgic and relaxing way. (lol if that makes sense).
and it kinda is like home, it's related to their side songs, like the one titled Coming Home. Maybe you could listen to all of their songs? Icarus is one of my faves. ^^
