Learn to parachute and then charter a small aircraft and jump from it, ( make sure someone is still flying the plane) as you descend into the bush, pluck the drone from the tree and then once on the ground, edit the footage. I really can’t understand why you didn’t do this earlier. 😂😂

Take a travel fishing rod, 3 or 4 piece, handful of sinkers and some pink flagging tape. Cast over and once happy you got the line in the right spot tie some parra cord or telecom rope to your sinker end of line and pull the rope back over, pull down or jiggle the branch, has worked for me. Great video, nice to see T7 out and about. A good handsaw could help with some branches. A potato gun or air powered tennis ball launcher would be fun to see. Add a 100lb test line and keep at it. It was an excellent lesson in perseverance. Now I want to see that drone survive more adventures!!

Do your damnedest to get that drone back. Those mini2 were a better drone than the new SE versions, and you can't buy them anymore. You can even still buy all the parts for them to keep them going. I've yanked a drone off a roof with a second drone, and a hook and fishing line. Don't get the second drone stuck up their too though hahahaha.
I'm not holding out any hope it'll ever work again after the amount of rain that's fallen on the damn thing, but still interested to get it back and see. I think the newer minis with at least basic obstacle avoidance would prevent a lot of situations like this tho 😬

Climbing gear to climb up that tree with safety and a small handsaw to cut the smallest portion of the upper tree or branch to get your drone back. Someone else to watch you as you do it. Otherwise, like others said. a bow and arrow with a reel or even a slingshot. The ball with a string idea was also good and if you kept that string curled and organized it wouldn't get caught on the vegetation like it did.
P.S. You can always try Elon Musk and his SpaceX program as well. He could zap that tree from orbit.
Yeah I think with a bit more time up my sleeve I could do it with that ball launcher, I'll give it another go at some point 👌 cheers
Looks like a great place to camp. I didn't see much firewood around though someone might need to drop a tree with a chain saw so theres wood for next time. (wink wink)

I had a drone stuck up in a big pine tree on the gold coast for 5 month and one day someone called me (had phone # on it) and said they found it! Must have fallen out. But the thing actually still flew ! You should get back out there with an axe!

Anaconda have kids bow and arrow sets like cheap, they’re rubbish but might do it. Otherwise one of the subscribers would have a bow for sure. Or if there is an arborist in the subscribers etc they could climb
