Come on guys!!!! This is Jazz music! Get into it!! Feel the beat guys!!!! I played this song in the Northridge Jazz band last year, and we really got into it. All of us were moving and doing special moves while we played it at our concert last year.
I’m assuming this is a high school jazz band. This would explain several things (odd instrumentation, lack of knowledge of improvisation, weakness of style, etc.) Nonetheless, the bari sax player is the only one putting any stank on the song. Guitar soloist: the progression over which you are soloing does not warrant your staying in G minor the entire time. Learn how to move with the progression. Sax soloists: don’t rush, overblow, and forsake tone and vibrato on the longer notes.
Because alto clarinet is the ugliest of them all in the clarinet family. It' does have the silk of a clarinet nor does it have the velvet of an alto... Sorry.

Everyone is still, nobody but the bari feels the music, and even he is doing it minimally. It sounds like they started playing last year.

This felt like funk music without the funk portion. Get into it guys! Good job regardless, Bari sax wins this performance

I play clarinet and no hate but why aren't there any alto clarinetists and why only 2 concert b flats???
nope too many saxophones ima tenor player and i know jazz bands u need 5 saxes 4 trombones 4 trumpets and a rhythm section.
