I loved the sound, the vocals and the visuals! Her high notes were heavenly! It took me back to an ancient time, full of mystery and wonder. I believe the instrument on his lap is a Gusli. They come in many varieties and shapes. The stringed instrument being played with a bow is a Tagelharpa.
This was one of my picks. You can thank the RUclips algorithm for pointing me to it. Lots of cool shit showing up in the side bar recently. I've said it before, I'll say it again... just scan the RUclips music thumbnails for images of a hot chick in the woods, and 9 time out of 10, it's a decent metal song, lol. What grabbed my attention was the descending vocal progression... most melodic vocal runs end high, not low. They actually broke a lot of conventions on this song and yet still pulled it off. I'm gonna keep an eye on this band. They have talent and a fairly unique sound.
@@Arkryal well, I'm now hyped by their 2024 album. Not black metal (which I'm not a big fan) and so great! The only little "drawback" are the non english lyrics... But her voice is really awesome and the music is meaningful and delightful! They will enter my playlist for sure after I find the time to listen to more... So I thank again the whole chain : YT algorithm, you, Tommy! 🤘
Dude, Meschera recently released the second album "Songs of the Eternal Winds" - a hundred standard of modern folk metal...Alexandra "Lynx" sings phenomenally...
This was good. The tone and atmosphere of the music and the video was really great. The vocals were awesome. I have my usual problem with the drums in black metal but it wasn't to bad in this track. Great stuff.
The instrument is an old one from Scandinavian culture. Maria Franz plays similar one in a video from the band she was in before Heilung. The band is Songleikr and the song is Ulvetime, well worth listening to, there is a good amount of music out there from Songleikr and you would like their stuff.
Thanks a lot for the reaction. Have discovered this band just recently and totally felt in love. Check out their new vid actually :) P.s. And thank you for all the words you say.
I thought there was gonna be a proper scream or some harsh vocals in there, and I hoped for them.. even though I'm not a huge fan of black metal, I feel that could've just added a little bit more to this great track. Nice Patreon request 👍
Спасибо! I don’t know if you know the band called Grima. Also a Russian band, arguably the best black metal band right now. Try Siberian sorrow - a perfect example of their music. 🌀🌀🌀🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍
Love the music and her voice was just sublime.. I understood not a word of it but I didn't need to. Not a huge fan of the black metal, bu in this particular song.. The good parts out shown any of the negatives for me. Nice recommendation Patreon. ❤and ✌️
This was really good. The clean vocals made it so different from most other similar bands.
Loved her voice.

That's excellent and brand new to me🎉

I feel like going outside and listening to this on a loop. Really great vocals and mix, neither canceled the other out. Love it!🤘🤘

If that instrument is what i think it is, it's called tagelharpa in swedish. I believe Wardruna have used it too.
@@draug7966 Yeah, I couldn't remember the name of it, but I recall that I have seen Einar playing one in some of Wardruna's videos.

@@TheWolffAndTheMelody yeah, I’ve watched them already, thanks for your reactions, man! 🌀🌀🌀🙏🙏🙏✊✊✊
@@TheWolffAndTheMelody Hey, Tommy! I found another interesting black metal band from Russia - Царетворец. Totally worth reacting to. 🌀🌀🌀🙏🙏🙏
And another one added to my list! Haha!
So good rigjht!?
