You can sprint past the knight and get onto the elevator, if you’re fast enough he won’t be able to get on and once you go to the next floor it will give you his shield with no battle, and he’ll be dead.
I've been stuck at the academy for the past 3 days! After beating the wolf I didn't realize I could access that path on the right and it turns out I've been heading in the wrong direction this whole damn time

I'm doing a bleed build so I got the bloody slash ash of war on my uchigatana and I got the meteoric ore blade. I'm a level 85 samurai only because godrick was giving me a hard time and I didn't know my arcane had to be leveled up so now It was at 8 now its at 23 and there's such a big difference. I know about the three demons that are in golden light and her second form. All you have to do is keep the pressure on her so when she charges up for that beam just run at her and hit her a bit so that way the beam won't hit you and she'll be stuck during that beam. Then when she does some other spells just run in and roll forward so they'll hit behind you and you can deal more damage to her until she summons either a dragon, giant, pack of wolves, or that weird summon with the bloodhound sword but keep an eye on her. After outrunning the summons and avoiding the moon ball go up to her after the moon ball explodes keep hitting her until she blows u back and repeat that process until she dies. I would recommend having the turtle talisman equipped and mixing your one flask for stamina. I know she's weak to blood damage but magic damage won't do you any good against her. The recommended level for her is 40 so I'm a 85 but I'll still have trouble going against her.

Hey :) i found an fester way for that knight with the nice shild , you can try to outrun the knight , and go to the Alivator with some luck He dosent get on it and fall down while it drives up you get the shild too

But with this video I had a lot of trouble at least on my phone nailing it down and seeing the map and where you were going. If you could just take a few seconds longer on showing the map..... No sight of grace anywhere?? I used all my potions fighting that knight downstairs now I’m at Rennala’s front gate with no potions. I’m not trying to start back from the wolf’s site of grace... :(
Light attacks work well against the night so he won't parry me, that way you don't waste time trying to get him hit by the ball or dying from trying to run past taking the elevator

If anyone is stuck on killing the last mini boss (the knight) then just sprint fast onto to the elevator then die and comeback there when the elevator is up and just make him follow you and he will walk in to the black void and you will get the shield and you can walk easily
I was fighting that knight person after the bridge and i was whopping him until he broke my poise and used critical attack when he was one hit from death

For the knight: you can go straight towards the lift, and knock him off when he follows you on. He will instantly fall to his death for a quick kill.

Yes but that knight is dead now and you can get to rennala
Just run right passed all the enemies, bait the knight a little then run passed him too and onto the elevator.

An easier way to kill the Knight is to run to the elevator and go straight up, then he just falls down the hole and dies.
