Some cars are aimed as lease cars, others are for the private buyer of a certain demographic, I'm appraching 60 now (ex-sales rep) )and you wouldnt be seen dead in a mini mtero, but a vauxhall Cavalier (even a 1.3) was fine!

Thanks A real eye opener.Just think you also need to factor in Insurance costs on these comparisons . Some Insurance groups jumped significantly on the better value cars so look at that when deciding.
This video is merely pointing out the HUGE value difference in the cars. I wouldn’t go for the Sandero over the gold because it’s £150 cheaper to insure personally.
Exactly right Jim I’ve got a Qashqai Tekna which cost me £249 a month 8000 miles over 36 months it was £7 a month more than the acenta premium just right place at the right time.

I'm waiting to hear about someone getting a speeding ticket in an AMI. I have a friend who got a ticket for 23 mph in Richmond so it isn't impossible.

I think the Citroën Ami is one of the few cars on the market that is better to PCP rather than PCH. At the moment a £150 deposit gets you a 3 year, 10000 mile deal at £158 a month!
TBH, no one will do 10,000 miles a year in one!
I bought one for my Wife for Christmas, so I could use it instead of using the bus....
Her actual words were "what the f*ck is that?" when it arrived!
It's the sort of car I'd only ever buy used for cash to be honest

Thanks for the informative video. When I use Lease local i can not get the same display as you, From the wheels down wards i see Overview, Specifications, Gallery, Price history, Review. To find the boot size i have to go into review and read a review. Any idea way? I am using a laptop, Thanks
I would guess you’ve got a low resolution / small screen. The site is responsive and only with a larger resolution will you see the same layout as me (mine is 4K). Hope that helps.

What’s going on with EV deals recently? There are some good ‘shop the budget’ deals but the actual cars have pretty much been the same for months, it’s like they can get rid of those Toyota/Subaru things
They were priced way to high originally and is the only EV Toyota and Subaru has and they need to meet the ZEV mandate so they will stay cheap forever more. They are selling them I can assure you.

The Sandero is factory order, but the Golf and Astra are in stock. A factory order is always more expensive, so not a fair comparison really.
Examples to make my point which i guess you don’t get. If you were ordering one today would which would you go for? the best deal or the Sandero that you had your heart set on?? Do you get it now??? Shop for the best deal you can get for your money - if it’s only a good deal because it’s in stock who cares??? It’s still a good deal!!

Harsh comparing that little plastic thing to other cars on 10k a year based on its range and top speed!! Realistically well below 5k a year - I’m sure it’s a damn sight cheaper…still, who’d go near the damn thing?
It’s just an example that I used to make my point. Both cars were on 10k by the way so the result is unaffected as the comparison is still fair.
