    I get incredible responses from the Hindu shuffle color changing deck. I start by asking if anyone is colorblind. Then I highlight the many colors associated with a standard deck. I ask people to remember all the colors they see, starting with the “backs” of the cards. I then show the one red card about three or four times. And I always use a joker as the one red card. So when I get to the end I say “Oh, we don’t need the joker, and I casually put it back in the card box. I ask them “…and what color are the backs?” BAM! They’re stunned. I hand out the deck to be examined, and then move on with my routine. That Hindu shuffle is a powerful tool! I love it! Thanks for your tips. I particularly like the ‘squaring up the cards’ way to sneak a peat the bottom card.

    That Hindu shuffle “pick up control” is my favorite way to bring the card to the top of the deck.

    Thanks for this vid.I recently used the Hindu Shuffle in a trick where the spectator's card choice was randomly selected,then controlled,by the shuffle, to second from the bottom.It allowed me to double lift the bottom two cards(showing last card onky),then using a nice color change to reveal the selection.I love this art form.Spectator was stunned.Thanks for your knowledge and time to post amazing stuff.

    Great content as always! Thank you. I actually learned the Vernon color changing deck from Aaron Fisher on his RUclips page. The psychology of it is really fascinating to me.
    Also, the main reason I am convinced by you that the Hindu shuffle is worthwhile, is because I saw you do it when you performed for out group last year!

    Dan Harlan has a trick in which multiple cards are selected. He uses the Hindu shuffle to bring them all to the top of the deck, before sandwiching them between the 4 aces in the middle of the deck. It's a very deceptive.

    • @DougConn
      @DougConn  8 месяцев назад

      So a faro follows the control?

    • @BeardedSte
      @BeardedSte 8 месяцев назад

      @@DougConn No, he takes out the aces at the beginning, then places them face up on the deck after all selected cards are apparently lost in the deck. He then causes the aces to vanish one by one into the deck to find the selected cards.

  • @_DinoHat_
    @_DinoHat_ 8 месяцев назад

    you could probably incorporate a top shot with a double backer for the last one so it seems you change the whole deck in that moment

    had no idea you could that much things with a hindu, wow!
    but the hindu force, gosh I find this force waaay too lazy, I mean it looks too obvious...
    don't get me wrong, when I wasn't into the craft I was fooled by it, but once I knew the deal, that force was dead obvious.
    the hindu control in the other hand... hmm, I might play with it for a bit, it looks really fair :)
