Ok something y’all don’t seem to get is Kanye having writers has NOTHING to do with Pusha T. Kanye has admitted to having writers while Drake was EXPOSED for it. Huge difference, obviously Pusha isn’t gonna have a problem with Kanye for that. Y’all Drake fans are insane lmao
Shawn Cee and Drake doesn't respond to the disses that REALLY get him... like Joe Budden KILLED him 2 or 3 times and no one mentions it for some reason
If you said what you said in this comment in the video I doubt you'd have got as many replies about it, the way you addressed it in the video was like you didn't even acknowledge what he was getting at.
No you've got it wrong, what he's saying is that if Pusha T is discrediting him for working a couple of songs with Q (only like 4 ever got released) then what can he think of Kanye, whos had multiple writers per album since as early as 808s that we know of. He's also painting the irony that Pusha has the nerve to question him when he's wrote on multiple songs for his label boss, (Father Stretch My Hands, 30 Hours, Popstyle etc.) But this is also ironic in its own way, because Kanye wrote on multiple Jay Z songs, penned the hooks for a bunch of his hits (Lucifer, Encore just to name a few.) Search up the studio session video on the creation of Lucifer by Jay Z. So if we're discrediting Drake then we also have to discredit Jay Z, Kanye and probably most of the rap game since sharing song ideas is heavily prevalent in a lot of major artists.
Yes, it does actually because Drake was one of Kanye's writers on his last album and it ABSOLUTELY has to do with Pusha T because he just called out Drake for doing the same shit when he's part of the G.O.O.D label. Pusha has a problem with Ye' for his political views and his arrogance, he's said it in a recent interview. Drake is basically saying that Pusha has no backbone and has based his entire career off of phony drug pushing that his brother Malice used to do at a high level. THAT'S WAY WORSE IMO. Birdman checked Pusha's ass in an elevator too and he cowered down and left. I can almost gaurantee Kanye gassed Pusha up to do this on his album. ALMOST EVERY ARTIST/RAPPER HAS HAD A GHOST WRITER. Whether Drake was exposed or not doesn't matter at this point because it was only for a couple verses on a previous project (and he CREDITED Q, how is that being exposed?). Stop making Drake the poster boy of ghost writing when this shit has been happening since NWA formed in the 90s and 808s and Heartbreak. Just because other artists haven't been exposed doesn't mean they haven't had people write for them at certain points in their careers. I like you Shawn but you are totally biased right now and aren't seeing the other side at all. Show the man some respect, geez.
He’s calling out the hypocrisy from Push tho. Drakes whole angle in this is basically “You have problem with me for having writers, but I’ve written for the very man that you idolize (Ye) and you don’t say shit to him. Not only that, but you question my integrity as a person while the inner circle you surround yourself with is full of envious frauds and leaches as y’all try to pull each other down, all while posing as friends (line about Virgil)”
I actually just listened to Daytona because of Drake. In fact that’s the very reason why Drake sent an invoice to them because he will make people listen to it. Infrared was good, but Drake absolutely bodied him on duppy
Ok, so as we’ve all listened to both responses, this is my official (unsolicited and probably unsupported) verdict: Drake’s Duppy Freestyle was a great song with decent material. Its main focus, however, was on Kanye, and not Pusha. The material focusing solely on Pusha was sparse at best. Therefore, when Pusha responded with the Story of Adidon, not only did he reveal embarrassing potential truths about Drake and his family, he created a metaphorical relationship between Drake’s supposed deadbeat characteristics as attributes also of his parents. In addition, the majority of the track focuses on Drake and Drake alone, with the disses aimed at OVO and the like intended to hit Drake where it hurts. Furthermore, the song interrupts Drake’s potential popularity and the success of his upcoming album and Adidas rollout. His response, an apology and overall futile explanation for the blackface image, was seen by many as a failure. Of course, said image is now irrevocably associated with both the album and the shoe deal, and therefore can potentially impact sales. It now seems like the battle of sorts is over, at least until the potential response on Drake’s album (conjecture, and not confirmed). It also seems like Pusha has extra material on Drake as well, though they both seem content at the current point. If the issue becomes prolonged, my verdict may change, but at this juncture, it is easy for me to give motherfucking Aubrey the goddamn L.
It really pissed me off how people were saying 'its been 3 hours and no reply Pusha scared' nah fam shut up. Everybody just hopping on the Drake wave as usual. These guys probably ain't even know Push before the diss. They ain't know the heat he brings.
Decent track but this isn't a meek mill situation people need to relax with the "rip pusha t" and over hyping drakes ability rn, Push is in another league lyrically from dude
James Montague How is it in any way almost career ending? Push just dropped one of the best albums of the year but his careers over because of a decent diss track that he hasn't *yet* responded to?
Frivolous Foxes Yeah but then drae brought up a few more points that Pusha T needs to respond to. Whether it be through diss track or interview or whatever, he needs to send shots back
Best believe all the drake stans on twitter have no idea what that song is. Drake is literally untouchable for that reason alone. He got social media in his pocket. Regardless of whether or not Pusha's response is good or bad he already lost. (Im riding with pusha all the way btw)
Chi Simpson yeah man, you can’t defend Pusha with just these two tracks out...if it comes down to infrared vs. Duppy, duppy wins. Gotta wait for Push’s response
Shawn Cee you're the best reviewer on youtube. You're like the combination of all the other big reactors, but better. Youre funny, yet you're mature. You're hella knowledgable too which adds so much to your reactions, and the fact that you listen word for word and explain helps the audience a ton. Never stop my friend.
Gotta give drake respect but pusha has something drake will never have and that's the respect for what he did before and during his rap career in the streets. There's more proof for what push did than there is lack of evidence and when street life is such a big part of hip hop it's hard for push to lose since he lived it and backed up with classics(hell hath no fury, lord willin, +2 great solo albums). It's a situation that you gotta give drake respect for coming hard but you can't take anything away from push cause he has released such great music and as far as we can tell he lived the life which you can't say for a lot of rappers.
RumHam Drake *didnt* say that pusha *never* sold drugs, he simply says he didn’t do it as hard as he raps about in his music. Malice’s interview on Vlad’s RUclips channel confirms this as he explained how his cousins already had put in all the work, thus it wasn’t a struggle for pusha

As far as the "taking care of your own" bar, its a known thing that Drake hardly promotes or looks out for artists on his label (PND, Roy Woods, Dvsn, etc.) so I find that bar ironic because it feels like drake doesn't want his label mates to shine because he is worried about their success. OVO is known as the "sweat shop" for a reason (he takes a lot of lyrics, beats, and songs from his label mates, especially PND).

why has drake never responded to Kendrick yet he respons to smaller rappers like meek and pusha and hands them "L's"... he know he gon win bc he has a bigger fanbase
Because Kendrick is smaller than Drake in fame but Kendrick still has a big fan base compared to that of a Meek Mill or Pusha. DAMN. outsold More Life in first week sales so that should say something about Kendrick’s popularity. That wouldn’t be an easy win for Drake. Why hasn’t Drake fully gone at Jay either? Because Jay has a big fan base as well.
Jaskirat Sandhu I would avoid letting people know I wrote father stretch my hands “if I fuck this model and she just bleached her asshole and I get bleach on my t-shirt imma feel like an asshole” that is not a fucking achievement
Hi Shawn! I hope you can take some time, look on Genius at the lyrics, and make another reaction video, because no offence, but a lot went over your head. A lot went over my head to the first time I listened so don’t feel bad
Scott Bennici I understand that, however he missed specific lines that I believe misinformed his argument. He didn’t completely understand the ‘father stretch my hands line, and how Drake WROTE it for Kanye. That negates Pusha L’s Argument as how can Pusha criticize Drake for using writers but not criticize Kanye his boss and producer for using writers too. Shawn at the end of the video said that doesn’t negate Pusha’s argument about how he only “respects authenticity “ when it clearly does. I’ll really like him to dig deeper
I thought Duppy freestyle was harder than both of pusha’s disses. I did particularly love story of adidon tho it was pretty nasty and push did what he does best but drake just had more clever wordplay on duppy freestyle tho I’m a fan of both drizzy and push
Bro I respect you and your channel, but Drake WROTE for Kanye's Father Stretch my Hands (Ye' even thanked him for it on Twitter) AND WROTE MORE when he was in Wyoming for Ye's upcoming album. The hypocrisy of these jealous petty rappers is comical. He had Q write a couple verses on Views and a lot of people still somehow think he isn't one of the greatest songwriters of all time now. You really think Wayne would sign someone who doesn't write his own lyrics? Every Artist you love has collaborated with other writers before, that's a FACT. AND HE RESPONDED IN LESS THAN 24 HRS. Drake ain't the one to play with.
That's the difference though my g. Kanye gives credit, Drake claims shit until it gets leaked that it isn't his work. And then when he's called out he STILL don't give credit. you people just stan drake a lil too hard...
bigwilliestyle uhhh yes you are. If you’re gonna call it repetitive you’re tripping. The only thing that’s repetitive is the theme, and I’ll admit that. A lot of new wave rappers be doing this vibey wavy music but similar to Travis scott, Juice puts his own spin and twist on it. You’re trippin dog
The whole beef is just meh. Both stated facts and both stated things we already know. Pusha T and Drake are both at the point in their careers where they aren't losing anything from this. They're not loosing any fans or money and people already had their minds made up about them before these disses dropped. I'll will say that Drake is like Nicki Minaj when it comes to dissing, I would love to see him keep the same energy when lyrical heavy hitters come at him. When you address the giants people stop coming for you and if someone does come for you after that there is no reason to respond and the public will feel the same. It kinda bums me out that Shether dropped over a year ago and no diss track since has come close to it.
Levi Anthony no I don't see your point, mainly because your point is built off of assumptions. You're assuming Pusha won't release anymore projects but since you can't foresee the future that holds no weight. You're assuming I wasn't checking for Pusha simply because you weren't but I'm a complete stranger so that also holds no weight. In your opinion Pusha lost but for most hip hop heads that debate isn't valid until we hear a response. Pusha had a few lines for Drake and Drake responded with a whole track so I'm interested in Pusha's next move. But even after all of that, the winner depends on person opinion.
Shether wasn't even good, all the punchlines were weak or just unexsistant. It sounded sight but the actually disses weren't delivered well and the disses were pretty boring
U said drake is like nicki when it comes to dissing? Not a shot lol. Drake comes right back and its usual crazy. Opose to nicki waiting months to come back at remy and when she finally did it was corny.
Kenshin Himura drake never said pusha didn't sell drugs. All he said was that he didnt do it to the degree that pusha rapped about in his song. Thats what that escobar line meant after the no malice line.
Nitro FuZe where's the evidence for such a statement? Malice said that he went to the army and when he came back he heard that Pusha T was out there doing drug dealing.
Kenshin Himura yeah. No malice also said that pusha was hanging with the same ppl that he was selling with. Which were his cousins, and they made it easier for not only malice but also for pusha 2 sell. The cousins had the set up, malice and pusha followed.
Nitro FuZe yeah and Drake said that he only raps about what he knew. But that's simply not true. Pusha T sold drugs(according to his brother) and made a name for him in the streets.
So Drake has - Jacked Big Sean's flow, - Gotten beats and entire songs (Find Your Love) and an entire STYLE (melodic rapping from 808s) from Kanye, - and had to put a press release out in response to a diss track so hardcore from Pusha T, who also washed his label five yrs earlier on Exodus Sounds like GOOD Music won this battle to me. Drake makes pop music for teenage girls. Push and Kanye make that real hip hop shit.
When drake says “If you rebuke me for working with someone on a couple of Vs Then what do you really think about the n- who’s making your beats I did things for him I thought he would never need Father had to stretch his hand out...” He doesn’t mean any producer, he’s saying Kanye makes a lot of Pusha T’s beats, and Drake wrote Father Stretch My Hand for Kanye. He’s asking Pusha how he can question Drakes integrity but not the man that’s behind the production of Pushas songs. It’s a very valid point
Othello Hill Incorrect. Drake DID offer a couple creative ideas for the song. Look into the credits HE IS credited. But no, Drake did not provide a complete reference track for Ye. Drake might have helped with a few lines here and there but I have a very hard time believing Aubrey wrote about fucking a model with a bleached asshole and feeling like a asshole cause he got bleach on his t shirt.
Hunter DeVoto Drake credited Quenten Miller for his assistance, so what’s your point. Even Quenten Miller himself admitted to this on his interview. You guys are just hypocritical haters, it’s fine when everyone else BUT Drake does it
Drake can't negate shit because it's a fact that he used a ghostwriter which he can't deny. But he did say in the response that he wrote for Kanye so he's saying Pusha can't really come at him when Kanye does the same shit. Overall I think Drake is untouchable, even Kanye can't touch him. No matter what happens in the beef Drakes position in the music industry will barely be affected.
Sloth Pack By definition, Drake did negate push by calling him out on his hypocrisy. How you gonna hate Drake for having writers when the man you idolize had tracks written for him by Drake. That completely takes all the juice outta Pusha’s argument.
There's a difference though. Kanye has never been shy about shouting out people who help write for him - shit he even tweeted out thanking Drake for writing on TLOP. He also always gives writing credits on records he's had help with. Meanwhile Drake didn't credit QM on RICO. We'd have never known if it wasn't for the reference tracks. If Drake wasn't credited for writing on TLOP then it would show that Push is a hypocrite. Driz is deliberately creating a false equivalence.
well there’s a major difference, being exposed for having ghost-writers, while Ye did thank Drake for helping him on both of his tracks on TLOP publicity, everyone knew, it’s not having people help you on your music.

Furthermore, the song interrupts Drake’s potential popularity and the success of his upcoming album and Adidas rollout. Of course, said image is now irrevocably associated with both the album and the shoe deal, and therefore can potentially impact sales. 3:58 to see shawn become j. cole for a second lmao
I’m just happy we’re getting so much good music. The production on all of Daytona and Duppy is beautiful
My favorite hobby is watching this and then watching story lol
When Quentin said, “ Actually Drake, it was a Publix.” Responding to the work at Kroger line.🤣 They clowns.
I’ve been waiting on this!
SHAWN CEE BILLUPS ?

fadi aboona well I guess Pusha T pushed him too hard than, Scorpion was mediocre
Otto Da Lotto lmfao this guys came straight up and told u drake is ass 😂😂😂
To add to what you said on 808's, Say You Will was remixed to Say What's Real, and Find Your Love was left off of 808's and given to Drake
DENZEL CURRY PERCS
The Chaosmonger facts best song of 2018.

Hardest shit he’s dropped in a HOT minute
i really like the light music in the background while you talk calmly and smoothly.

New set up is amazing man
pusha coming hard... just wait on it
Patrick Agustin no time for waiting man times ticking
pause
Then drake will have to go back to back
Patrick Agustin good. Let him get a back to back diss
Patrick Agustin nah if so Drake will come back with more bars. Drake cant lose he's immune.
I’m just watching some old videos and ur workout progress crazy bro
Hi Shawn! I hope you can take some time, look on Genius at the lyrics, and make another reaction video, because no offence, but a lot went over your head. A lot went over my head to the first time I listened so don’t feel bad
Samuel Appiah get this top comment!
He doesn't have the time to talk about every single line bro.
Donald Taylor III He missed plenty of lines such as the Virgil line, no malice, and Virginia williams.
Pusha L? Lmao get the fuck outta here. Go listen to Drake's new trash single
Great video Shawn
TSOA was so damn good that I can’t still remember a single line from this song
I thought Duppy freestyle was harder than both of pusha’s disses. I did particularly love story of adidon tho it was pretty nasty and push did what he does best but drake just had more clever wordplay on duppy freestyle tho
I’m a fan of both drizzy and push
Dawg, you searchin up how old Pusha T is one of the most legendary moments in hip-hop music review history. You underrated af
Eric Soto 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This was unnecessarily fire🤷🏽♂️😬💀🔥🔥🔥
You deserve wayy more subs bro
Drake dissing Pusha for not being a multimillionaire when Pusha is worth 15 million is sad.
That new set up nice my guy
Finally someone with some sense..it was cool nothing mind blowing
Nah man this had some crazy word play bro lol
Keep releasing content like this! I'm really very happy i found it, this is dope!
Yo I did the same shit and looked up pushas age when I heard that bar 😂
yay an actual reaction finally
🚨TESTING🚨
SHAWN YOU PUT ALL OF MY FEELINGS INTO WORDS PREACH BROTHA
I like how everyone has to google Pusha's age after that bar 😂
I like these videos before I even watch, always solid ✊🏽
Drake ain't the one to play with.
zoroaster91307 FACTS
zoroaster91307 factsssssss
That's the difference though my g. Kanye gives credit, Drake claims shit until it gets leaked that it isn't his work. And then when he's called out he STILL don't give credit.
you people just stan drake a lil too hard...
Dominic Fischer-Burrowes Still don’t give credit? My n1gga Quenten was credited on his credits list.
Dominic Fischer-Burrowes Instead of calling people stabs do the research my g
Drake fans gona praise this shit like it’s ether
You missed so many bars, go on genius
C he doesn’t miss the bars he just doesn’t wanna stop the vid every few seconds to explain them so people like you feel that he understands the song
Shawn Cee you got some of my favorite commentary when it comes to music.
Points for seeing through the Duppy track without all the Drake hype bro!!!
The new setup is cleannnn
Juice Wrld Goodbye and Good Riddance is waiting!
0N3_CRAZZY_ K1D00 trash repetitive album by an industry plant
bigwilliestyle yeahhhh you trippin dog
Mr. Johnny uhh no im not
bigwilliestyle uhhh yes you are. If you’re gonna call it repetitive you’re tripping. The only thing that’s repetitive is the theme, and I’ll admit that. A lot of new wave rappers be doing this vibey wavy music but similar to Travis scott, Juice puts his own spin and twist on it. You’re trippin dog
Mr. Johnny im talking about the fucking theme
New setup is nice man
The whole beef is just meh.
Levi Anthony stfu
U said drake is like nicki when it comes to dissing? Not a shot lol. Drake comes right back and its usual crazy. Opose to nicki waiting months to come back at remy and when she finally did it was corny.
Are you trying to say pusha t is not a lyrical heavy hitter?
Well said. I’m subscribing now
How did you not talk about the MALICE LINE??? the hardest line in the response?
Drake told lies in that part. Go check out the interview from malice with vlad. There he talks about Pusha T selling drugs.
Nice new background!!
Shawn where is the A$AP Rocky TESTING reaction
First video seeing the new set up. Looks 🔥
Duppy means ghost in Jamaican Patois
This review gave you my sub. You see the bigger picture respect rude Dice Seh dat!
you needa fix your mic or something cos i cant hear nun without earphones
I love your reactions, they have a perfect balance of everything that so many reaction channels are missing
drake and his crew def though they took the dub 😭
Hommie said "Aubory".. Great reaction vid..
Drake coming charged up but can he go back to back.
yo, this new setup look dope.
So Drake has
- Jacked Big Sean's flow,
- Gotten beats and entire songs (Find Your Love) and an entire STYLE (melodic rapping from 808s) from Kanye,
- and had to put a press release out in response to a diss track so hardcore from Pusha T, who also washed his label five yrs earlier on Exodus
Sounds like GOOD Music won this battle to me. Drake makes pop music for teenage girls. Push and Kanye make that real hip hop shit.
u obviously don’t listen to drake if u think he makes music for teen girls have u heard 5am in Toronto?
I actually love you Shawn, by far my favourite to watch for reactions ❤️ love your intellect and perspective.
Press 1 to see how Soulja Boy copied Shawn #nocap
When drake says “If you rebuke me for working with someone on a couple of Vs
Then what do you really think about the n- who’s making your beats
I did things for him I thought he would never need
Father had to stretch his hand out...”
He doesn’t mean any producer, he’s saying Kanye makes a lot of Pusha T’s beats, and Drake wrote Father Stretch My Hand for Kanye. He’s asking Pusha how he can question Drakes integrity but not the man that’s behind the production of Pushas songs. It’s a very valid point
you're audio is too quiet
Obi Igwe Right
I FUCKING AGREE
I appreciate that your reaction wasn’t overzealous like most youtubers over this response.
You missed the 1st four bars. Drake ghost writ for Kanye on father stretch my hands pop style and 30 hours
DA REAL Johnny Appleseed yeah I couldn't be bothered to go into all that detail just pointing out he missed the reference of that kind
Othello Hill it’s not ghost writing when you’re given credit
Hunter DeVoto My point exactly
Hunter DeVoto Drake credited Quenten Miller for his assistance, so what’s your point. Even Quenten Miller himself admitted to this on his interview.
You guys are just hypocritical haters, it’s fine when everyone else BUT Drake does it
pusha t better be in the booth rn cause back to back 2 is on the way
Drake can't negate shit because it's a fact that he used a ghostwriter which he can't deny.
Sloth Pack ya boy Drake got diplomatic immunity
Facts
Oh my right ear sounds so good know thanks for not killing my right ear for two videos
Where are all these supposed ghostwriters these haters talk about
i see you with that new mic
