- This was really hard. It's not perfect, as it's just not meant to be played and sung at the same time, let alone on an acoustic guitar. But I did my best. Johnny Marr and Morrissey are both just so good, it's hard to even be half as good as either of them. Doing it at the same time is stressful LOL. This took a few takes, I can't lie.

The whole Meat is Murder album is a masterpiece. Hearing it today takes me back to times when it was new and so many other places, good and bad, it's one of the best that evokes many emotions to this very day.

Lost my longtime childhood friend early 2020. I turned him on to The Smiths Meat Is Murder album back in the 80’s from my moms record collection. He was a lifelong Smiths/Marr fan. In return he was the catalyst to getting our circle of friends to all become lifelong musicians. I wish he was around to show him your covers of The Smiths. I know he would certainly approve. Keep bringing us those Smiths covers.

I just “googled” whether mighty Johnny Marr plays it, and he does (check out Johnny Marr - The Headmaster Ritual (Live on KEXP). But I’d say even he struggles!
