I actually have a work question is when you boil the easel minutes and then bake them is there a different flavor then when you just bake them in the oven?
I’m sorry for the miss pronunciation. I do have a neurological disease so I have to speak to my iPad and some times I don’t get the chance to edit correctly. What I meant to say was when you boil the Hazel nuts for that short time and then bake them, do they have a different flavor, then when you only bake them in the oven?
@@rainprincess7 hello, I just did this myself, and I can say yes, the roasting brings out a lot of the nutty flavor. Untoasted blanched hazelnuts taste bland and even a bit bitter, and the texture is a bit gritty. After toasting, the taste is much stronger is almost sweet in comparison.
Appreciate this easy how to video, thank you so much !
thank you~~~so, inside of the half of the halzelnut is brown that is edible?

What temperature do you toast the hazelnut at?
0:37 "Preheat oven to 350°F" I'm guessing that's also the toasting temperature.
Thank you, it makes such a nice pinky colour, might use it to dye some cotton
Thank you for an easy to follow straight forward video. And the music was delightful.
Glad to have you back! 💜💜
Thank you! So easy
this was so relaxing
For those wondering: yes, the baking soda is required. Ask me how I know.
