- This is the final part of this series and shows the Wilderness Coast of Mull off at its best. The series covered two separate journeys round Mull as a comparison ..and illustrates that each and every time I go round the Islands .. its always different ..Thanks for watching
Great series Donny especially with the two trip comparisons stunning you could never get tired of it just so wild and beautiful 👍
Thanks Jeff ..it was a lovely time..but it was a poor year for me this year..only a handful of multi days away at sea :-( Fingers crossed for next year 😀
Certainly have enjoyed this series, and i am looking forward to your next adventures.
Thanks davidendsor ..I enjoyed putting the series together ..there will be plenty more videos coming ..but sadly this was my last long multi day adventure this year..weather was terrible ever since. Had some great single day outings though so watch for them coming next :-D
Thanks Donny a lot of preparation and hard work goes in to these videos . Much appreciated
Thanks again maximusbegg .. it take a while getting the videos the way I want them..but I enjoy passing the poor weather days ..when I cant get out and about ..putting them together. The biggest pleasure is knowing others enjoy them..so thanks for stopping by :-D
Magic again,a total pleasure to watch and enjoy thanks for all the time and effort you put in
Thanks harry.. appreciated ..plenty more in the pipeline too 😀
Donny, thanks so much for this latest episode showcasing the beautiful island of Mull, my favourite island.
I often think how humbling it is that those many rock formations have seen thousands of years pass by and hardly chamged. Our ancestors saw them, our descendants will see them for many thousands of years more to come...looking at it that way, we are all very small in the history of things.
I have sheltered in Tinkers hole a few times, once staying up all night due to adverse wind and tide conditions that caused me some concern. Having a picnic in Balfours Bay was always a highlight. Sadly, Loch Buie is not an ideal anchorage for displacement craft, but I did visit by road shortly after Chernobyl and camped there for 2 nights. The Post Office was a sight to behold...a wooden hut...
If only such places could remain hidden, yet also be visited and enjoyed by so many.
You have opened eyes to the beauty of the West Coast, and your filming is just fantastic!
If David Attenborough did a new series on this area, he wouldn't need to look further than your videos.
I hope that one day we can meet and boat together in the Promised Land for a day or two.
Thank you again...for brightening up my life with these amazing tales!
Hi colin..yup.. we as individuals hardly scratch the surface and at almost 70..I cant believe how short life really is..still Im making the most of it when I can ..taking only video and leaving only footprints on the beach. I too have had a few worrying night as weather changes unexpectedly ..its all part of the challenge ..and what keep us going :-D
Thank you once again very much for the opportunity to experience this journey from afar! Such a wonderful trip!
Glad you enjoyed it Andreas ..it was a poor boating year this year as the weather was very difficult ..but I made the most of things when I could :-D
Marvellous series Donny, thanks again. The geology is stunning thats for sure.
Thanks again Captain and I agree the islands have a stunning coastline 😀
Top Notch trips once again Donny...im hoping to get back on the water next year...health reasons have held me up and kept me land bound recently...i find inspiration from your adventures and miss the exploration of our coasts so much...thanks again Donny
Thanks kevin and sorry to hear your health issue.. I lost almost 2 months of summer boating because of my own issues with health..fortunately I seem to be over whatever got me ..so my sympathy and best wishes for good health to you
Great Thanks Donny , Keep them coming
Thanks simon..plenty more in the pipe line..mostly single day adventures though as the nights draw in 😀
Hi Donny. I have really enjoyed watching this series as I do with all of them. Good editing and drone footage. Looked like a great adventure. Thanks Steve 👍
Thanks again steve ..Im having a lot of fun with the drone now I can keep it under control..so watch out for lots of drone views coming soon :-D
Lovely video again Donny. Certainly appreciate the effort you put in to produce them. Not from Scotland myself but have visited regularly for over 50 years, including a little bit on rib and yacht ( not much, not enough). Lots of climbing though, winter included. Great that you share your adventures and may you keep on enjoying them for many more years.
Thanks Robert..yup some good climbing around the area too although winter conditions not always guaranteed. I did a lot when younger but find the hills to busy now ..the coasts are much quieter but I do notice they are also getting busier ..so I think I have enjoyed the quieter times ..which suit me. thanks for commenting :-D
@@donnywilcox Me too, I think we had the best of times, but still so much to be grateful for that is still relatively quiet and unspoilt.
Amazing views, Donny boy, thanks for showing them to us 👌
Thanks again SNEVIC always a pleasure to see you still around 😀
Stunning 👏👏👏
Thanks 123boat ..it was a great adventure or two ..so thanks for watching and commenting.. appreciated :-D
Brilliant again Donny - spent my life visiting Oban and Taynuilt but you go to places I haven’t seen and pass on interesting facts about them - thank you so much
Thanks margaret and glad you enjoy seeing the area through my eyes ..I had some luck this year following your advice to troll for fish around the edge in about 20ft water ..nothing huge but some very tasty fish took my lure :-D
Great images Donny & your violin solo was OK too. 7:38 looks as if you copied the beatles vultures from the jungle book. If the weather ever calms down, some of us could have a go too. Thanks for your efforts.
The weather has been terrible this year ashley.. I keep getting photos on my phone saying..remember this day last year ? Its photos of lovely flat sea and blue sky up the loch..but this year its rough..and wet almost every day ..fingers crossed for next year 😀
amazing Donny, thank you for showing us parts of beautiful untouched Scotland
Thanks ian.. its a lovely area and I appreciate it being on my doorstep to enjoy ..thanks for commenting too :-D
Another brilliant ’box set’ Donny, really enjoyed coming along. Hoping to explore the ‘wilderness’ coast on Mull some day albeit probably on foot, so many interesting features. Your video provided a great taster. Thanks Paul
Thanks footprints ..yup..I would love to get a close look at the fossil tree but swell and a reef just under the surface have always stopped me..going by foot would be the best was to see it 😀
oh i would so love to do that wilderness stretch in the same conditions you had.
Great views
Thanks Romi Studio..delighted you watched the videos and thanks for commenting 😀
Another brilliant video series Donny!
Thanks Bob..appreciated 😀
Great stuff Donny.😀
Thanks again Stuart.. It was one of my best summer trips 😀
