    Absolute dream rig! I've been daydreaming about one of these for the last month. I lived in an Airstream with a 30 gallon water tank for a year, and the 135 gallon water tank in the Patagonia would be a game changer. That was my least favorite thing-- having to drive into town from a BLM site just to fill up on water and propane. Thinking about how deep back into the boonies you could go with this thing is an exciting thought. One day :)

    With that departure angle, break over or ramp angle and with all that weight, that is NOT a go anywhere or expedition vehicle. Good luck to turn around on single track mountain roads. The vehicle itself is not build thought enough for serious off road.

    There are water trucks smaller this that can carry 40,000 gallons of water across country. Put 1500 gallons in this plus a UV for stream water for laundry. People want a hot shower everyday for at least 2-3 weeks. No one wants to go into town constant for water spending a thousand for gas. No one needs a black tank. A small grey is sufficient.

    • @Weretherussos
      @Weretherussos  4 месяца назад

      A water truck holds 2-4k gallons. A fuel tanker truck holds up to 12k gallons. You’d have no room to carry 1500 gallons of water in a camper.

    I would love to hear about self rescue of the vehicle and a safe space within that you could have you the option of escape and retaliation.

      Why? Most countries outside of the US where this is meant to go don’t have dump stations so you wouldn’t be able to dump a black tank. But these are custom so add whatever toilet you want

    I can get a smaller overlands 100-200 gallons of water. There’s no point to this unless I’m getting 1500 gallons of water. The #1 reason most people do t get these is WATER, Parking & money for food.

      So you want to carry around over 13k pounds of water and spend the fuel it takes to move that around?? Don’t forget these vehicles have a limit on carrying capacity. You’re going to have to sacrifice a lot of things to have that ability for your vehicle to carry that amount of water.

    Interesting that there was no propane. All electric cooking. It is very nice. Just like the price. As Christine said, that thing is made to go somewhere where there is nothing and be self sufficient. Before you go explore the world with this thing. You have to explore your wallet and bank account for all the money you have. 💰💰😀😀

    The hilarious thing is I saw a dude convert a military truck that was similar to this to something much much nicer and he did it for under 100k with about 2 months of work on his own. These things are all criminally overpriced. they are 100k vehcicles with about 100k worth of constuction and labour but they charge you the price of a house.

      @@Weretherussos That doesnt really mean anything. Do they produce 1 at a time or 100? If they custom make these things there is obviously a waiting list. Its still a pretty stupid thing to spend money on when people are having them built for way cheaper.

      Ya I am really struglling to understand this market of insanely priced vehicles. I saw much smalle butt ugly montrosities for 1 million dollars. Meanwhile I saw a dude easily convert a used military truck to something way nicer than any of these for under 100k all in. I suspect there is something fishy going on in this industry. Even new, the vehicle itself cant be worth more than 150k and the upgrade materials are about 50-60k max. I think that they sell so few of them that they probably have to spend so much money on marketing and sales that it quadruples the price of what these things should be. There is no way they are worth more than a house. Even if you could afford these things you would have to be really bad with money to pay this.
