While we are all waiting for the Barbie Extra dolls to drop in our local toy sections, I thought it would be fun to appreciate some other gems of the past years! This Millie BMR1959 has so much potential and today i'll show you why :)
Her curls are gorgeous but straigth hair always has my preference so let me show you how I straighten out those curls on dolls!

I love my BMR1959 girl with her curly hair, but you just took it to a whole other level! She looks amazing! Best Barbie RUclipsr hands down. Unfortunately, I tried straightening a doll's hair on the lowest setting the other day and it literally just melted off. 🤣🤣 I'm too scared to try it again!

Thanks for this! I just straightened my BMR's hair using this as a guide. She looks great! Though my ends are a bit messy and frayed. Any advice?
Hm, I ended up using a little bit of gel or hair mask for the ends or else you can always trim the ends carefully! 😌✨
@@Barbination Thanks for the advice! Turns out it looked much better once it fully dried, so I may not need to trim anything at all. Still, I appreciate the response.
Which straightener do you use?? 😊😊
any straightener with a heat setting will do! 😉 not all of them have that so just make sure you it has different settings of heat levels

Can anyone recommend a good flat iron for dolls? Can’t find any on Amazon.
Just a pocket size with HEAT SETTING will do, actually any with heat setting will do! That’s the main priority when looking for a flat iron for your dolls! ✌🏻
I tend to avoid tall and curvy dolls for the same reason you do, but I had to have the tall Looks Barbie that just came out. I had to rumage DEEP into the discarded plastic accessory bag to find the only pair of shoes she can wear. Since there don't seem to be any bodies that match her skin tone, I've decided to leave her that way and try to find more shoes.
Thank you for the video. I tried to straighten my BMR1959 doll's hair and I burned the first section I tested it on, which thankfully was underneath hair in the back. The lowest setting on my straightener is 160 degrees. What is the temperature on your straightener?

@@Barbination The tall Looks doll is actually paler than the purple top. I haven't seen a M2M doll as pale as the Looks doll yet. I started sewing outfits for her and my only bane now is shoes!

The pink top yoga Barbie? Has heel feet? I need an affordable articulated Barbie with HEEL feet please! All the movable dolls I see on shelves are all self care or sports and that’s cool but they usually all have flat feet

I'm a tall girl IRL and it makes me kind of sad that tall Barbie has the same issues with clothes that I do. I have few shoe choices and pants are too short. I want better for Barbie so I can vicariously live her fantasy where everything she wants to wear fits. I am going to sew some new clothes for my tall and curvy Looks Barbies when they arrive.
