- Arkansas upsets #1 Auburn, 80-76, in overtime in front of a Bud Walton Arena record crowd of 20,327. It was the Hogs first regular season win over #1 since beating Michael Jordan and UNC in 1984. Arkansas now leads the series with Auburn 37-20.

When I was there from 77 to 82 it was normal for crowds to be like this. Barnhill held half what BWA does yet you couldn’t hear someone screaming directly in your ear trying to tell you something..

Congrats on the win. After we danced on the mid-court logo, which was classless I'm not going to lie, I'm not even upset about the loss. Arkansas outplayed us. You guys deserved to win and earned it. Just like in 1999, one of our best teams goes down at Bud Walton Arena.
Game was an absolute war. Kessler was a monster that is a game changer in a lot of ways. Smith is something else and I thought he was going go Reggie Miller vs. the Knicks in that last minute of OT.

Yeah Kessler is a problem. He changes the shot selection for sure just being in there. Fun game though! You guys are really good. I think if that had been at Auburn it probably swings the other way.
Auburn has a very good team and good coach. They will do well still should be number 1 everyone loses from time to time
Historic win tonight, and well worth the $250k fine that came along with rushing the court! This victory just goes to show that this team is more than capable of beating the best in the country. It's going to be extremely telling in how we respond to this win going into Tuscaloosa to face Alabama. But the Hogs are certainly in control of their destiny at this point. #WPS

I got in line at 4:15 AM for this game, going off of 90 minutes of sleep. I have NEVER experienced Bud Walton like that and will never forget this night. Such an amazing job by the team of not quitting, to keep fighting when we could've let go of the rope. One thing you can't say about these Razorbacks is that they stop fighting. And the fans, maybe the best home court/field advantage I have ever seen or heard. Just such a blessing to be a part of history tonight. WOO PIG SOOIE!!!!!

I’m not seeing nearly enough people talking about how insane jd’s on ball defense is. The iq, not to mention the physical condition that requires is unbelievable, especially without fouling and picking up several steals.
I’m afraid this will carry over negatively to the bama game. Body going to be exhausted
He was incredible on defense all game. Even when he wasn’t on-ball, auburn players would be looking for him to make sure he wasn’t coming behind them and them scanning the floor lead to other hogs getting steals
I'm not seeing enough people talk about how SMART Williams is. Not to take anything from JD. But I believe Williams is our most Valuable player doesn't foul, draws a ton of fouls, shares the ball well,great jumper, even better defense.

This game made me feel young again. It reminded me of 1983; beating North Carolina in Pine Bluff.
That's the first hogs game I ever went to, I grew up 5 minutes from the Pine Bluff Convention center, and I don't remember alot of it because I was 5, but I do remember how loud it was. Woooooooo pig Soooooooooie, Razorbacks.
Watched this with my dad, haven't seen him that happy since the packers won in 2011

Just home from this game a bit ago. Loudest basketball game I have been to. Barnhill was loud in early ‘80s but this was another level. Not always pretty but these Hogs got job done.
