I've completely missed the hype when the game came out back in 2015. I almost know nothing about it except for the music and the battle system. Might check it out!

If where being honest I would have really liked an undertale stage just for the music. Maybe even one of the characters as a stage boss.

Hero Hunter Dabi maybe he could work like Ridley from pyrosphere and the flying man from the earthbound stage smash 4. If you hit him once he’ll start attacking everyone but the one who hit him. But he would move around from the background and the foreground making him really hard to hit.

It *was* cancer in 2016 & 2017. But it's a pretty nice fanbase now. And we all know: Every fandom has it's cancerous sides. I love the game and the fandom. I can't wait to play it again. :3

The only difference between the two is that the game is finally playable on the go.

I did another play through recently (my 4th one) and I still love this game. Get it. Ignore all the "this game is viral therefore must be treated differently" people, it's not like other "viral" games.
The story really should have been mentioned. It’s my favorite part of the game.
I don’t really care how wordy it is. The story is amazing.
How was this a Switch version review?
Liked it on my PC, but I never saw much appeal in it. The characters appeared too short to form a bond with them and the game is too short for an RPG, so the battle system felt not used to its maximal potential.
But the music is truly amazing.

What's the difference between this version and the computer version? The only one I've seen is that there is a new boss; Mad Mew Mew.
If you didn’t like reading dialogue and it hurt your experience, I feel like you probably weren’t reading it anyway and skimming through it, I hate reading dialogue and I found this games dialogue to be the most entertaining I’ve ever read. Just my two cents :/

I played this game back in June of 2016 and I loved it. However the fandom is something you dont want to involve yourself in. They're ravenous monsters. All I took away from the "fandom" was first rate elitism, bullying, putting others down, whining, and an endless struggle for trying to become big and popular on tumblr.
Their community will give you stress, headaches, and low self esteem. Just play the game and stay away from the fandom

It is on PS4. I believe it's in options as "Dynamic Border"
Basically the background/border changes depending on your location.

I don't think there's any difference between any version no matter what system it's on
PS4 and Vita versions had the exclusive Dog Shrine area. Dunno if that's in this version.

To the people who say that we should just get over the fan base being awful, I disagree. I think a bad fan base can definitely impact your taste on a game before you even play it and can be extremely annoying to hear, that being said, Undertale is really good

Okay so I basically spoiled the whole game for myself last year because I’m not really a PC gamer and thought that Undertale wouldn’t be coming to consoles just a month before they announced the PS4 version. So is the game still worth getting (PS4 or Switch I could go either way really) even if you are already aware of all the Characters, Plot and Revelations?

Well you could uncover secrets in the game by backtracking. Playthroughs would miss something. Sometimes finding secret stuff is very interesting for the lore. There's a 33% discount on PS4 & Switch platforms as of recent so that's cheap and Deltarune to expand your gameplay after beating all the Undertale routes. Go give it a go and maybe you'll find something out of it. I know this is late but I had trouble deciding too.
IGN gave this game 10/10 two years ago...

At first, I didn't believe the hype until I heard Hopes and Dreams and other songs that blew me away. I tried it, and hey, it's actually really enjoyable!

Switch version is good, but I would go PC, mainly because on there you can mess with the fun value and trigger multiple random things.
I avoided this because of a bad rep but it seems time to experience what the fuss was/is.
Good review. They need to emote their voice a bit more though, they sound unenthusiastic.
I'm guessing once you do a Genocide, you can't ever escape the Soulless endings now. No possibility for a Genocide Remover program like on PC.

I feel like this game really isn't the most text heavy. considering it's easily the most entertaining text I think I have ever read in a video game I really don't think this is a drawback.
