It's only a bad thing when we start to think of others as lesser. But as long as we still think (or at the very least treat and know) that other people are just as awesome as we are, then it's okay. At least Frisk isn't alone anymore. I really thought that they would have to endure a new journey by themselves at the beginning, but this means that there is even a little more hope of solving this.
No, this isn't a genocide run. There will never be one in Inverted Fate. It doesn't suit the AU or their characters. This is a DIRECT FOLLOWUP to the last chapter, Angel's Promise. If you watch the postcredits to it, it'll make more sense.
Don't know how people would come to the conclusion that this is a genocide run but okay.

It's been a long few months, but the wait has been worth it. I'd love to finally get to see how Frisk and Chara deal with their newfound situation, and the cool effects supposedly in the. The team (including X, Philip, SKL and all the others) evidently put a lot of hard work into this one, and I'm glad to see it all come into fruition!
Umm, what happens if one of them runs out of HP? Because they each only have 10 due to splitting. Hopefully it's like Deltarune where you recover if your allies are still alive.

Ok the intro is so cool, it feels like Asriel has entirely changed the game once again, this time claiming it for his own, and going out of his way to portray his motivations on everything, even the start menu.
I absolutely love how Chara defaults into deflecting emotions with humor. It's a trait that's theorized that they actually learned from monsterkind, and one they canonically show when Asriel mentions in the tapes that Chara "laughed it off" after accidentally poisoning Asgore. So seeing Chara, after doing everything to try and stop Flowey and him taking over anyways, finally _break_ and fall back onto that old coping mechanism is heartbreaking. The way they parody their Genocide ending self too, and put up a wall against Frisk by keeping them away with their knife is chilling as well.
Also Chara's attacks are genius, I haven't seen someone give them attacks that cool since Sanstale: Losing Hope. The way their slashes are actually the battle UI, not bullet patterns, and if they hit you or not depends entirely on when Chara chooses to slash is both extremely accurate (since bullet patterns are magic) and makes for a really tense attack. But then you manage to throw in some actual bullet patterns too, by having Chara use some weak fire and plant magic, something they definitely could've learned before their death!
I LOVE THIS!! Just, Frisk and Chara's dynamic is * amazing * the way it's written here. They're both flawed but they're trying their best and they're kids and they care for eachother so much and aaaaa. Just- wether or not you ship them or not, their moments were all very sweet, and their dialogue together is always fun to read. And the EMOTIONS! I love how Inverted Fate handles these, and I'm very excited to see what else is in store! My personal favorite parts were the hug and when they held hands in the end, just... a silent, mutual reassurance that whatever happens next, they'll face it together
I am definitely gonna miss this series once it ends, but the ride has absolutely been worth it!
(Side note, I am viben to the intro, its so cool! And a very Asriel/Flowey thing to do ngl)
I also liked how even after the whole heart-to-heart thing, all their insecurities/baggage/guilt weren't instantly absolved, but it's begun healing enough to move forward
There are some one-off lines later down the road that imply they might go down the ship route. Normally I'd complain, but it's so well done here that I'm genuinely rooting for it.
Wow, I didn't expect it. Seeing Chara like this... it hit right in the feels, but thankfully Frisk managed to get through to them. This final arc is already amazing and mind blowing and I can't imagine what's gonna happen next.

Your menus are so good! I wanna rewatch that beginning part where child Asriel looks directly at the camera. Literally got me terrified during the premiere.
One thing that really stands out to me is just the fact that Frisk is even alive. Asriel could have killed them and taken their CLEARLY POWERFUL AND DETERMINED soul for himself, but he didn’t, mainly because Chara begged him to spare Frisk. It’s an interesting touch, and maybe deep down he also still cares for Frisk as well.
Yeah, Flowey may be a spiteful lil' shit, but he also knows that killing Frisk would be disadvantageous in getting Chara on his side.
Honestly, was a bit nervous at the direction this would go after seeing backpack kid in the intro. But seeing Frisk and Chara explore a decaying underground together in the flesh is exciting! Also wonder what's gonna happen with the main cast, even if it's in a different form everyone knows they're gonna come back.
Thank you Dorked and team for making an AU that isn't just not insufferable, but also fleshed out! (I mean sans is my fav character but he's so over focused on. At least having Paps join the crew is in character.)
The girl at the end of the intro was actually mentioned way back in Chapter 38. She's not going to be the focus of this arc, though.
Chara is so well written in this au!
...this was amazing. I enjoyed every single bit of this (even writing in the chat before the premiere started)... and even though it was short, it was one hundred percent worth it. Everyone who worked on this did such a good job with everything. All in all, Inverted Fate is the best AU out there and no one can change my mind.

Also, it seems like that best way to resolve your issues, in any Undertale AU, is just by going through a FIGHT, FIGHTing the best medicine in Undertale🤷🏻♂😏.
But, seriously though, this AU Story has gone in a direction that i wasn’t expecting.
Usually with Stories like this, that uses pixel art for it’s Storytelling, the ones I’ve seen so far have usually just covered it’s own version of the entire Journey of the Original Game, with basically from the Ruins to New Home and that’s usually it, they usually continue from beyond that,
So with Inverted Fate, I very much just assumed that it would’ve been no different, that it would’ve just gone to the Asriel Boss Fight and then just ended with it’s own version of the True Pacifist Ending, just like so many before it,
But nope, they decided to go further, beyond from what would’ve been the usual Ending, with rather than just resolving the God of HyperDeath Asriel situation with just a FIGHT, this AU decided to stretch it out a bit more and pretty have it go full on JRPG-Style, with our Protagonist now having to fight a practical God that has basically all ready Won,
This Story has had so many Turns and Surprises, i will highly be looking forward to see it will move forward from here.

I vaguely remember it being mentioned that the Underground’s “new look” was inspired by OFF’s purified zones. And _shit,_ do I see it by the end. Hell, even the Flowey emblems on the archways… such a small detail, yet I was getting freakin’ chills ^_^;
Amazing AU. Despite originating from Undertale, this is basically its own thing.
All that emotional turmoil aside, the side facing sprites look much less awkward.
Not *exactly* sure what I was expecting, but this is better! After all the uncertainty and struggle to speak up through the previous chapters, BOTH humans found a new understanding. Chara's attacks looked a little off, but perhaps their presence alone has more importance?
Edit: Forgot to add - it looks like the soul split is permanent based on Frisk's. Intentional or not, that brings a huge twist, as their smaller heart means a smaller hitbox. Will attacks get bigger to compensate?

All of Chara's abilities reminds me of Fractured Tale's Chara, though that series reminded me of Inverted Fate when I saw it. Great stuff.

I love how much Asriel's Villainy was fleshed out in this AU whereas in Undertale he was just a villain for a few minutes and then just kinda dipped.

The people who keep wanting a genocide run of IF is weird, like before in some of dorked's comments, it would have to be out of character for everyone for it to happen, and the only possible way I could see it happening is with the player, but that was stated that the player never existed in IF's lore, in the undertale timeline or inverted fate timeline, so that would just be, a random thing happens out of nowhere for literately no reason, which is dumb

Just a bit of speculation but I can see this series going in a few ways:
1. The humans encounter "lost SOULs" like in true pacifist
2. Asriel creates artificial monsters which may or may not need to be fought
3. Encounter brainwashed monsters from the OG timeline
4. Deltatraveler battle system? (jk)
What if asriel creates artificial humans as well? Remember, asriel is literally god at this point, and reality is pretty much his play thing.

Dorked has no plans for it, I mean a few years ago they allowed a team to attempt to make a full fangame of Inverted Fate, but due to the astronomically high scope, it obviously went no where and got cancelled.
I don't think any other team outside of Dorked is gonna want to invest so much time into something like this.
Definitely won't be a full fangame of the entirety of Inverted Fate, but from what I heard a game of just this final arc stuff might be reasonable due to how linear it is with no real branching paths. But it would require someone making it

Asriel/Flowey is being an idiot and not realizing the pain emotionally they are putting Chara through. They need to realize that before they hold things in a state they weren't meant to for too long as it could end up corrupting or even erasing the timeline and have no way of undoing it. They need to learn the consequences of their actions.

Inverted Fate is honestly already pretty anime-ish and has derailed fron the original Undertale quite a bit, but I trust Fireglobe/The Inverted Fate Team to be able to preserve what made the original game so special. (Basically, it won't become another Glitchtale)
