Thank you for another great trip. I agree with you on the empty buildings, here in Britain we have a lot and too many people. The builders prefer to build on new ground rather than refurbish older buildings even though the services like water, sewerage and power are already there. Madness.
Unrelated to the stop talks, I love how in-line the tram signals are with the traffic lights. I bet you'd get tourists who, like me, were confused by them at first. And thank you for sharing your hard work with us!
Lange Jahre hab ich gewartet und immer Tramfaher gefragt, ob bzw wann sie endlich auch eine Mitfahrt mit der M5 machen!Jetzt wo ich die Stadt verlasse habe, gibts gleich 2 Mitfahrten😅 Umso schöner ist es jetzt seine alte Stamm- und Alltagsstrecke, entlang der Konrad-Wolf-Str bis zum Hbf zu sehen.
Alexanderplatz was tram free for many years and the tram used other streets to get to Hackescher Markt and Friedrichstrasse. The complex tram tracks at 44:40 didn't exist. Trams could only turn at Hackescher Markt, when coming from Rosenthaler Platz and having terminus.

35:00 the terminus Hauptbahnhof = Central Station could also be reached by the other track, but without covering Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt.

8:47 This was terminus, when New Hohenschönhausen didn't existed yet. It was "Hohenschönhausen Gartenstadt", was pretty suburban.
