My volunteer company had an elliptical long nose like Gibraltars, You could dock a yacht easier than make a tight turn with that thing. Loved it though. When they retired it, a town somewhere in south Jersey picked it up. Saw it in a parade video. And another Hahn. I didn't know there were that many around still. Always great trucks.
Very nice video! Well done. And awesome tankers and engines, they all look very nice. My favorite though is the international with the flames. Looks like a show truck rolling around. :)
When was a volunteer I drove a 3000 gallon international tanker that was the slowest most gutless beast on the road. Oh how I loved it👍
ronwulftn1976 what station did u volunteer for?
@@sethc961 I volunteered for at a county dept in new mexico, i am actually a second generation firefighter. My parents volunteered there as well. The department was San Juan Country Fire Department station 6 also known as Lee Acres volunteer fir dept.
ronwulftn1976 oh nice I didn’t know because my department has a 3000 gallon international tanker so didn’t know if we was on the same dept just at different times
I love the lime green engine with the illegal blue light on the rear.
Its a Engine/Tanker but anyways how is the blue light illegal
Blue is not authorized on fire apparatus in Pa.
@@TAC9105 Oof thats lame
If you're talking about the 2nd apparatus in the video with the painted flag on front and the real flag on the rear, that was my departments engine in NY before they bought it. That's why the blue light is there. They probably haven't gotten around to changing it. i dont know the laws out there but i know in NY volunteer firefighters cant use red on their personal vehicles but its "allowable" on the rear of the vehicle. Maybe this is similar.
Awesome video!
Thank you!
Damnnnnn amazing video!!!!!
Thank you!
Oh man, that Hahn tanker. Can you tell me anything about that truck? Looks like a new body on a sweet chassis?
I assume a dump tank, or two, somewhere.
Rainman Do u know what the structure was used for
M
Hahn tanker.....I LOVE IT!!!!!......Hope that old girl is still in service.
Well... she isn't 😢
Noice catches brother. I’m so glad I’ve never had the “pleasure” of setting up a fill site on a working fire.
Thank you, and don’t worry, it’ll happen one day lol
Rainman14 I’ve been dodging bullets for 10 years. Don’t put that evil on me
we call them tenders in our department. Tankers fly, tenders roll
grammpaa same here, we have a decent amount of tenders, all pierce too
West coast?
NJ Emergency Chaser midwest
John Montefalco Ah. On the east coast we call em tankers because we don’t have air tankers
NJ Emergency Chaser in Illinois, we don’t have air tankers in my area either, idk why we call them tenders , tanker sounds cooler then tender
Huge respects to the tanker with the rubber duckie at 7:43!
Real workhorses. Thank you. Enjoyed it.
This is awesome and thank you for your hard work.
Wow that Hahn is beautiful
would have been cool to see fill stations also with this much tanker traffic. nice riges everywhere
QA
Awesome video! My area has like 2 tankers compared this xD
0:52 Love the halogen lightbar
I easily identified shartlesville's tanker
oml i love seeing bernville's tanker
I agree. I like the concept of a Hahn tanker. Refurbed? Looks sleek, especially donning the "Back in Black" grille =D
Wait a second.... A blue light on the back of the sencond tanker??
Probably Lancaster county, they have their own rules... lol
Having lived in a big metro area my whole life, I never knew firetrucks carried water, let alone that tankers existed. New subject for youtube surfing!
They only respond if fire hydrants are near or the fire is super really very bad
Wow love those tankers and engines especially the mack MR
Gotta love shartlesville
Grill lights on the mack are awesome
*TENDERS
("Tankers" drop water directly on the fire from the air.)
Dam that’s a lot of tankers, were I live we have one tanker that doesn’t even respond
L
Jt
Engine 32 is have 1 tanker and never has 0 tankers and tanker 21-7 is doing a great job!
I think those roto beams or whatever you call them are stupid, useless and costly
the fire truck pierce and freigthliner
That Hanh tanker looked sick ngl
It's out of service now 🥲
That triple axle freightliner was nice. Cool to see this many tankers in one area.
in Hunterdon County we do has call Tanker task forces some are in NJ or PA
Didn't see any Tankers flying over head... but did see several Water Tenders.
Get your west coast terms out of here, this is PA, we are special lol.
Exactly how many different departments responded to this call?
When we had a situation like this one? We had one road for the full tankers and another one for the empty ones?
We had a police escort for a line of tankers
How far is the nearest hydrant?
Was it a house or a factory on fire?
Did the gas company come to stop the gas from entering the burning building in question?
i was hoping one of the fire trucks would take out a cone
I counted 15 tankers! My area only has about 10
love that hahn&older model international
Loving Shartlesville's grille lights. Not sure about PA state law, but I seemed to only ever see blues on POVs and traffic units. I like Walnuttown's tanker.
That's where I wanna live
Dave R I've never seen such a variety of tankers. Wonder if there were any two alike? On the other hand, you got to wonder how much money could have been saved by having a certain range of standardized tankers available to fire companies.
But likely bought at such widely different times they wouldn't have got any kind of deal.
different fire companies also have their own preferred spec same with the fire trucks. barely never 2 alike unless for same company. ;)
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤beautiful trucks
If someone had a tanker/tender fetish, this is the perfect video for them.
I love tankers their really cool to me cause Since I live in the city we don't see ours being used often
Awesome video!
Thank you!
What type of lights r those on the grille of shartlesville,s tanker??
I'm guessing these are different townships working together?
10.25 What are the different lights on the side for?
Amazing catches!!
Thank you
Beautiful video!!!!! Your videos are very beautiful!!!! Keep up the great work!!!!! I really enjoy watching your videos every day!!!!!!
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoy them!
Walnutowns international’s tanker looks very short
When it comes to tanker trucks at a fire, do they go to fill up at a designated fill site,or do they just pick a random hydrant?
Darrell Wood in a lot of areas the use of tankers is because they’re are no hydrants in the area. so we designate a water supply site and that’s where they’ll go ponds, creeks, lakes. we will assign an engine crew to each site to pump and fill tankers to make the operation go faster and the tankers shuttle water between the site and the scene
The vest that says "Fire police", does that mean he's a FF and officer or did they just not want to print separate vests?
Fire Police are volunteer fire brigade/company members who based upon their jurisdictional authority, receive sworn police powers, special training, and support firefighting efforts at emergency incidents.
William Crabtree thank you so much!!
Love the Hahn
4:49 Yep that's where the water goes
Cool Hahn Tanker
GO GET EM BROTHERS!!!!!
احمد
cool
I have never seen any FD use a semi with a 9 thousand capacity before. Are there any out there?
Bristol, Indiana volunteer fire department has a tanker semi, I’m not sure the capacity of it though
Carrollton volunteer fire department in Carrollton, VA has a semi-tanker. It's a 2000 Freightliner with a 5500 gallon tank.
Florida has a few I think
😯😦😢
Go Mack!
I wanna say this was the mushroom house fire
Correct
That's what I thought. I was listening into the radios at station since I would have been next tanker due

All I see is fire trucks.. no fire....
Fire is much further back. What you are seeing is a tanker task force. Basically, there are zero fire hydrants where the fire is, so these tankers are shuttling water from a fill site to the fire scene. The ones you see waiting are waiting to fill and or drop off.
