It doesn't feel or look like a Treyarch game. I'm aware it plays on the infinity ward rendering engine, but it feels like the entire game has been developed by infinity ward. All of the things I love about previous Treyarch games are missing from B06. It's such a frustrating game to play for so many reasons. I dont have fun playing it. My main issues are slow clunky movement, awful maps, nade spam, spawns. The game doesn't flow what so ever. I'd go as far as saying it's the worst COD release since I started playing MW3 in 2011
For me it looks like a Treyarch game, but the movement is just like MW19/VG/MWIII the omni-movement doesn't really play a big part imo it's just another tac-sprint slide cancel game. I'll be honest outside of a couple of games, the experience for me has been pretty miserable. I'm trying not to just hate the game and I've been trying to stay positive in my videos but my experience on this game has been no better than the last 4 years at this stage. Small maps with strict SBMM the game just feels the same every single match. On the surface the game is very good, but none of that matters when I'm having to try hard every game just to go neutral. Like I knew it would be rough, but honestly it's so boring. I jumped back on CW last night for a couple of games as a test and I had so much fun lol. I honestly think in like 6 months time BO6 will be decent, no different with Cold War. CW one of my all time favourite games, but I really didn't like it in the first year, once the lobby variation improves I might start to have fun but the solo experience is miserable for the most part :( but most will say it's a skill issue lol
@teeksy1939 I was excited for the release, and I really wanted to enjoy the game. My B06 total play time is 17hrs. I feel like I've given the game a chance, and I've been hoping it would grow on me. (It doesn't help that my Dualsense Edge left thumbstick is drifting badly but the replacement stick modules are out of stock everywhere, but that's a separate issue 😡) I'm not an S&D player, but I played S&D on B06 for an hour or two the other night. S&D isn't as manic and with it not being a respawn mode, the spawns don't ruin the game. Have you tried S&D on B06? If not, yyou should give it a go. TTK feels really inconsistent. Not just getting kills, but when I get killed. It feels like I empty an entire clip into an enemy, and they turn around and insta kill me in 2 bullets. Then 2 minutes later, it's the opposite. Tac sprint needs to be deleted from the game entirely. It adds nothing. I play solo but I'm not sure SBMM has been too much of an issue. I've been terrible on B06 which surely means I should be put in lobbies with equally terrible players and go on decent streaks 😅
I’m edging towards a day played, I knew the game wouldn’t be anything like CW and I even said to you before release I’m mentally preparing for it to be a struggle, but no matter how bad I do or how much my stats fall every game for the most part continues to feel the same. On CW the last few years I could have tough game followed by a nuke followed by a balanced game you just never knew what you were going to get and BO6 will eventually be like that when the player count drops. The more years that pass with SBMM I’m more convinced that you would be better of playing a year behind with each game rather than getting them on release 🤣 Yeah I’m struggling with my sprint settings but again could be a controller issue as mine is 4 years old! I hate S&D 🤣 I’ll play it in ranked but I can’t stand it in pubs I’ve just never enjoyed it personally. TTK is really off on some lobbies I do believe the game is suffering from some desync issues it’s not every game but it’s very noticeable in some lobbies. I hate tac-sprint do not understand why they continue to put it in the games just increase the base sprint speed 🤣 I know what you mean my stats have been going downhill fast since I prestiged but I still don’t see any change in my lobbies like how bad do I need to play 🤣🤣
@@teeksy1939Man, shame to hear that it's been dissapointing as usual but tbh I kind of expect it from CoD at this point? They really need to make radical changes if they want to keep their serious playerbase around for future installments.. Keep sticking it out on BO6 over the coming weeks, and try to enjoy it the most you can lol. It is looking sort of rough for the SMGs at the moment, and yeah I agree with tac sprint, I don't understand why every modern shooter has it..
@teeksy1939 the lobbies in CW are varied. I get what you mean. You know when you're up against a decent player/players in CW, and you can adjust how you approach the match. In B06, you could be up against 6 bots, and you'd still get killed multiple times by nades and getting shot in the back because they randomly spawn behind you. It doesn't feel like 6v6. It feels like 2v12. There's no logic to it. I remember you saying it would be a struggle at first. It always is. I just feel it's not down to the learning curve as much this time. It's just so chaotic that you can't get into any kind of rhythm. I've always preferred a fast-paced play style and high kill games,but when playing the objectives, you need to be able to learn game management. It just feels like the game is against you. It just doesn't flow and ruins the fun. I'd be happy to put up with the new game struggle if there was any kind of logic and a learning curve to learn game management. It does feel like that's possible because there's no logic to the mayhem. On top of that, there's the movement that feels terrible, unenjoyable maps. Playing B06 just stresses me out 😄
