He only kept others alive because it kept a better chance to keep his family alive. It's interesting and nice to see such a closer group in the show.

If you think that's a loyal and honorable man, you have problems.
I miss dale but Hershel's the man! It's crazy how this group has lost so much but evolved in so many ways at the same time. Walkers are equivalent to stray dogs anymore .
