Hi, Really enjoyed your video. One thing I'm always wondering about e-kit cymbals is can they swell/roll like a normal cymbal would? Have you tried this on the 850?
Is it possible to combine sounds of different drum kits and tune each pad separately? Does it have hall or reverb effect? Is it possible to install new sounds?
Yes, you can mix and match every sound to create your own user kits. The available effects are: reverb, distortion and compression. There's also a 4 band equalizer. it's possible to load a new sample using a usb stick. Maximum sample size is 15 MB. It must be stored as a WAV file (mono) with a resolution of 16 bit and a sampling rate of maximum 48 kHz.
How easily do the rim shots work? Might buy one.. What is your opinion worth the money? And much can you change the sound of each pad? Like for instance I don't like the snare sound can it be switched to another on the fly or do you need a laptop and samples from there and run through a program..? Would love if you answer :) Very nice playin mate! Very nice indeed!!!
The rims have a separate trigger, so you can assign any sound you want to them, easily. I'm sure there are other ekits out there with the same features, I don't know them all, but this is a good deal, a lot of bang for your buck. You can change the sound of every pad very easily, everything you listened to in the video are sounds and songs included in the module, so no further purchase necessary. Of course if you have the time and money you can hook it up to a laptop running Superior Drummer and instantly upgrade the sounds (i.e. the sounds of Superior Drummer are the best in the business). So I watched like a million of these vids where everyone opens the hi hat, hits it and then closes it. It's like nobody knows you can hit it closed, open it and it makes a schwoop sound or it doesn't work so I am now going to assume the latter. Nobody heard Funky drummer I guess. lol
This is a cheap kit, (no cc on the hi hat), so you have to adjust your techinique accordingly. Besides, it is forbidden to play Funky Drummer on a e-drumkit... by the Godfather Himself.
I wish nothing but success for this company. Roland kits are way too expensive. Maybe a little competition will bring the prices down on the higer end kits.
Not great review. Don't know anything about the hihat functionality or whether or not tom rim triggers can be assigned to something else. This was mostly some guy who likes to play for the camera.

Ideally need to change the title so it doesn't say review. You don't review it at all!!!! And where is the testing of cross stick, rim shot, choke and 3rd zone bell?!?!?
I did a brief review in the beginning of the video, and I played the sounds and songs that I preferred at the end... @@Grimjaura yes you can easily change the sound of the bass drum
Very nice, can you tell me the dimensions please, I would like to have an ideia of the space.
More or less 170x130 cm. Thanks for watching, cheers!
cooles Video 😎👍
I'm thinking of getting this for Christmas, do you think its beginner friendly? because I started 1 month ago.
Yes, I would recommend it. It has a lot of good features for the price. Happy drumming!
Good video! I'm just wondering if you tried it past 300bpm? I play a lot of death metal and my only concern is that the bass drum pad may not respond to each beat at faster tempo
Yeah, I guess that could be an issue... perhaps you could tweak the sensitivity parameters? Thanks for watching!
Hi.
What is the most sensitive between Alesis Nitro Mesh and Millenium MPS 850 ?
I didn't try the Alesis but from what I've read here in the comments I think they are pretty similar. Cheers!
Good evening friends, I hope you are well, how did you get the cross stick, I can't get it. thank you
Just assign the cross stick sound to any surface you want. Remember to save it!
@@themiscelettobros. Ok but, it would be assigning it when hitting the pad, I want that sound to be produced when the rim is hit with the stick, do you know how to do it?
It's the same process, you can assign any sound you want to ANY surface: rims, pads, different cymbal zones.
@@themiscelettobros. Could you do a tutorial on how to configure those sounds? Believe me, many drummers in the world who have that type of electric drum will thank you and give you good recommendations and many likes.
Hi, great video, thanks for sharing. A question: have you found any problem with the hi hat when you open it and close it or any issue with related? I saw some people complain about that.
Yeah, the hi hat sometimes can be temperamental, but it's manageable. I believe there's a new firmware update that should resolve most of the problems. I still have to install it. Thanks for watching!
@@themiscelettobros. Thanks for your answer.
Only if you upgrade to a high end kit... I think the only REAL difference between this and the yamaha are the rubber pads?
Is it possible to get one of the crashes to sound as a China symbol?
Yes, you can assign any sound to any surface, even the rims of the pads. Cheers!
hey man, do you know how to enable cross stick on this kit? for me when I hit the snare rim it just does a rim shot. thanks
Sure. Select a kit. Press MENU. "Voice" is highlighted. Press ENTER. Now play the rim: with the big wheel on the right you can select every sound you want to assign to the rim (all the sounds are listed at the end of the manual). Remember to press SAVE. You can now press EXIT to get out of the voice menu. Hope this helps, thanks for watching!
@@themiscelettobros. thanks alot
could i hook it up with just a medium tom and a floor tom or do i need to hook up all the toms?
Yes, you can. Cheers!
Are those sounds that come straight from the kit? (without plugin, sampling?)
Yes, only sounds that come straight from the kit's module. No plugin, no sampling.
@@themiscelettobros. wow then it sounds better than I expected! What software (DAW) did you use to mix it?
No daw. The module allows you to record yourself, I just inserted a usb key, pressed the record button and that was it. I then took the file from the usb key and synchronized it with the video file of the camera.
@@themiscelettobros.thank you sir!
Ciao. Sai come fare. Grazie.
Certo. Scegli un kit, poi premi MENU. "Voice" viene evidenziato. Premi ENTER.
Ciao!
Can you add another tom and cymbal ?
you can add another cymbal
@@themiscelettobros. without splitter ?
without splitter
is there a way to remove the bass drum extra sounds on the metal kit?
You could create your own kit with the sounds of the metal kit but substituting the bass drum sound. Remember to save it! Cheers
why the weird sound at the metal kit with the kick?
I have no idea... but it's a lot of fun
Where can I purchase this drum kit
I bought it at Thomann.de
Thank you for the kind words! We appreciate it!
Can someone help me out? I got mine last week but somehow the hi hat is way to high, but i can't get it lower.
Hi, on the hi hat stand (below the cymbal) there's a "memory lock": try to losen it up with the drumkey. Now you can lower the stand to your desire height. Hope this helps, thanks for watching!
@@themiscelettobros. Thank's man!
Does not sound half bad man... I'm between this and the NUX DM8....
I think the NUX is almost twice the price of this Millenium?
@@themiscelettobros. That is true. Have you ever played on one? Do you know if the Millenium MPS-850 works well with software like EZDrummer and others?
Sorry, never tested the nux. The millenium will work with ezdrummer, the only problem could be the hi hat...with realistic sounds like those, it would be better to use a hi hat with cc, in order to playing smoothly the various samples of closed/half open/open hi hat.
I bought it from Thomann
does it have bluetooth?
No bluetooth
I've combined a Millenium MPS-850 with an Alesis Turbo Mesh! Wanna see?
Nice! Thanks for watching!
@@themiscelettobros. I'll make a video..

Buena bateria realista. Algo parecido a las roland td 8. Pero a de ser mas barata .
Hi! I Just got Mine yesterday. It is all setup. Now that I practiced...I noticed the Kickpedal moving around a lot. Do any of you guys Here have an idea how I can fix This? Thanks ✌️
Hi, try to add some piece of rubber material over the "tongue" of the kick pad, this way the pedal can clamp a little better. I hope this helps, cheers
Dios te bendiga mucho
Can you sidestick
Yes
So I watched like a million of these vids where everyone opens the hi hat, hits it and then closes it.
It's like nobody knows you can hit it closed, open it and it makes a schwoop sound or it doesn't work so I am now going to assume the latter.
Nobody heard Funky drummer I guess. lol
This is a cheap kit, (no cc on the hi hat), so you have to adjust your techinique accordingly.
Besides, it is forbidden to play Funky Drummer on a e-drumkit... by the Godfather Himself.
@@themiscelettobros. Thanks and good point! 😂
I wish nothing but success for this company. Roland kits are way too expensive. Maybe a little competition will bring the prices down on the higer end kits.
I agree. Thanks for watching.
please tell me how much it weighs? :)
I don't know! 😄

This drum don't have Indian kit???
Yes, there is a kit named Indian. In the video I play just a sample of the sounds and songs that I like the most. Thanks for watching!
Not great review. Don't know anything about the hihat functionality or whether or not tom rim triggers can be assigned to something else. This was mostly some guy who likes to play for the camera.
Glad you liked it! Seriously, in my defence I chose to demonstrate the songs and sounds... like the title of the video says. No other video review focused on this topic at the time, so I did it.
What kind of a psycho puts their ride cymbal right in front of them?
Ideally need to change the title so it doesn't say review. You don't review it at all!!!! And where is the testing of cross stick, rim shot, choke and 3rd zone bell?!?!?
I did a brief review in the beginning of the video, and I played the sounds and songs that I preferred at the end... I tried to highlight the things I didn't see in other videos, the things that to me are the most important like the quality of the materials, factory sounds and songs, easy access menus. Thanks for watching, Cheers!
What the fuck is up with that "Metal" kit?
Hey! Language, language! The metal kit bass drum is actually a lot of fun. Cheers.
Cost?
€675 at the moment. Cheers
The Sounds are awful. Just use Superior Drummer with it
The point here is that the sounds are not so bad, considering the price. Superior Drummer sounds are better than any top of the line e-drumkit
