Explanation: ========================================== I think there are three things worth writing about: 1) Cliffheart and triple lava tile damage This is a modification (improvement?) of something from a long time ago. Back when I first tried a risk 20 clear pre-update, I'd have a puller sit to the right of where Cliffheart is in the video (before the tile 3 ban), and tried to pair that with a Blaze on bottom lane for DPS. Then the third red axeman walked over, deleted Blaze, and I shelved the whole thing. How it works: Pull once with Cliffheart, and the axe walks to the middle of three lava tile squares. Triple the roasting. With Axe 2 and HP 2, this can prevent any of the axes (including the red ones, almost) from building up, and that's the key to top lane. 2) Exploding Bugs and double lava tile damage I had no idea this worked until I came across a bilibili video yesterday afternoon. The timing was perfect, as I was stuck with another Risk 26 strategy that had hit a dead end and involved too much RNG. After spending an evening working it into my previous strategy, this came out. Mad respect to whoever discovered this first. How it works: There's a fraction of a second time window in which, if you deploy your operator on the bug, the bug will be 'nudged' slightly into the top lane and take damage from two tiles. The timing is very painful and difficult to explain, and I'm convinced the window shrinks *smaller* the earlier Panda pushes the bugs (
I've seen that double lava trick in another video which explained that block the spider when third leg step on the lava, it will perfectly stuck between two lava tiles. Good job btw

What are key operators for finishing season 1 of contingency contract? Would like some tips so i can prepare and not spend unwisely on the events that ak is throwing nonstop at en global.
Specter's S2 is perfect to tank heavy damage, (Chen/Lappland/Astesia )having at least one of them would be great because needs arts damage to deal with light-armored mobs

High level cc gameplay is so satisfying to watch also the last enemy bit was funny, so whats the highest risk and did anyone get there? Bc this team looks like max investement possible
I am a CN player and here are some of my advice. Saria, Silverash are both tier 0. S1M3 for Saria and S3M3 for Silverash are very necessary if you want to challenge the high risk level of this event. Astesia(could be replaced by Chen), Hellagur, Angelina, Hoshiguma are tier 1, especially for Hellagur, it will be much easier if you have him and M3 his skill 2, In my opinion, all of your operator should be E2 50 at least, and as high as possible for Saria and Silverash.
Magallan and Mayer could be highly recommended for this event if you don't have a complete team, but also should be at a high level, like E2 50, but not needed if you do have a balanced team.
Couple of questions about this strategy... 1. Why is Saria facing left and Nearl facing up? 2. What is Cliffheart's purpose in this set up? Is there too many enemies in the top lane for Hoshiguma to handle or is it some other reason?
1. Saria and Nearl attact range is only one block, different towards is the same. 2. Cliffheart pulls the red axe to the junction of three heat pumps, causing him to be damaged by three heat pumps (My english is not very good)

Seem like to use target priority system in this game (I observe in this game that target is chosen from front to back, right to left depend on the operator placement direction, so target in the back is less likely to get heal when both reaching 50%) to avoid healing the wrong target then die or over heal. (need to confirm this if I find sth about the game priority system) 2. To abuse split box (the top axe man after being pulled is damaged by 3 lava tiles instead of 1) and stun to cancel enemy attack (Can see quite clearly with the last enemy kill)

It doesn't really matter where they're facing since their range is only 1 box which is no range compare to hoshiguma 2 box of range Priority system is that enemy always target the last operator that you deployed (unless they're already block by said operator then it won't work) Like example being, you deployed exusiai and was being attack by range enemy but if you deploy saria next then they would target her instead of exusiai
@@lillia6465 What I mean by priority here is our operator prioritize which enimies/allies to attack/heal when there are multiple one beside some with their trait. But my remark about does not hold for some op, so I am not sure also.

Also, I remember reading that the bugs will be easier to intercept with lower Panda skills, but I'm not sure on that one. On the other hand, her charge time needs to be 5 or SA will die, so maybe mastery 1 or 2 would work?
At least mastery rank 1. You'll need 2 pushes at mastery rank 1 and 2, and SA will take a hit (die). Master rank 3 can make sure that Axe boi can't tough SA.

Masuzu N Those lava tiles deal a fixed amount of true damage, but at random every 4-6s. If you run with the Gravel sl7 or m1 interception long enough, you'll see bad timings on those tiles such that the bug reaches your backline. Since we rely on those tiles to dps the enemy, that means our dps is somewhat unstable as well. Lastly, Hoshi has a percentage dodge chance. All this contributes to RNG.
I really, really like her. I don't think there's a good way to directly compare her with Hoshi, and certainly not with healing-tanks like Saria/Nearl. With high risk challenge clears, it's all about whether the strategy can fully and correctly exploit the operator's skill/talent. Nian's talents (her 3x barrier or HP buff to defenders) and s3 skill in this case seems at best implausible to replace. But the same could be said of Hoshi, Saria or Nearl-so rather than comparing the operators and say "X is best", I'll just say "I really enjoy exploiting Nian's talents and skills." As for clearing normal maps or even normal challenge maps, I don't bring defenders at all.
Out of curiosity, why did you face Nearl and Saria the way you did? Does it not really matter because of their attack range, or was there some other reason for it?

Nope, Cliff is there to splitbox the big bois. Basically she pulls them to position them at the middle of 3 burning tiles for 3x burn dmg.
