respect g, for me what i found worked really well is having "phases" where i focus on one thing more than the others. for me im way more into business rn than bodybuilding / MMA, so I don't do MMA anymore but I focus on bodybuilding (bulking) and my work. During last years summer I was way more into MMA and bodybuilding so I put my business on the backfoot and focused on those instead.

    Jack,
I agree. A man should know how to fight to defend himself and his loved ones.
I’ve tried boxing a couple times. I don’t enjoy it. I suck at it. Every time I get punched in the face. Which is part of the game, especially as you begin.
I’m ok with the pain, with enduring, facing my fear, leaving my ego at the door. And I’m willing to go back to learn because I should do it, not because I enjoy it. But there’s really ONE THING that stops me from going back : brain damage. And this is really not an excuse. And it’s real.
Being pushed in the brain, session after session, sparring after sparring, is not good for your brain.
I even have one friend who was training for competition who ended up stopping boxing, brain damage was one of his main reasons.
Even with an headgear, it doesn’t really change anything. Some studies say that it’s even worse because it makes your head a bigger target so you get punched in the face more.
So yea… I’m really in a position where I know that I should go back and learn how to fight because it’s good for me for some reasons. But at the same time I know it’s not good for me for some other reasons…
You brain health is really everything as a human, you don’t wanna fuck with it…
What do you advice Jack ?
    Thank you

If your risking brain damage every time you spar there is a problem with your gym. Sparring should not be trying to take each other’s head off every time. There are times to hard spar but if you’re getting messed up and worried every time you spar especially as a beginner you need to find a different gym with better people.

    • @localidiotluke
      @localidiotluke 6 месяцев назад

And it doesnt have to be boxing it could be Muay thai, judo, mma or whatever else. I would try and train both grappling and striking if at all possible for you.

Train boxing 2-3 times a weak and do sparring only once every two weeks. Some gyms have this opportunity with their shedule.

    From min 0 to 5:
I had my fights being way younger and you are right, it is all about reading the movements of your opponent, Never lost a fight "because nobody knew how to actually fight", plot twist, i am from Ukraine so you can already guess, we are not joking, specially in combats (not trying to flex but yeah, if you think being 6 foot + and you can (win fight by height and weight) forget it.
However as you get older 25+, most of the time because of your experience in situations, you don´t need to fight, you already have the look of "i done my war and i don´t mind to have some battle", once you have that, you clearly scare other men to even try.
If you are young guy, remember, muscles doesn´t matter if you are against a skill, height, same, weight, same.
    Skill is what you need.

    Question for you Jack -
I remember you talking about doing a current events/news podcast in a video, I think you could launch a self improvement morning news thing, everyone will listen to it, Hamza's followers, Tate's, everyone. 15-30 minutes, stock market news, wars, crypto, anything important, etc. Tie everything into world history and the economy, how it directly impacts young entrepreneurs on self improvement. "Good morning, coming to you live from Bangkok, today we will be talking about the recent BTC rally, arms dealing in Ukraine, and this new business......" Get sponsors and everything. What do you think?

I need some advice, I’m a 16 year old, 17 in 3 months, I have signs of high testosterone (facial/body hair, muscles, sex drive etc.) been working out for 2.5 years almost 3, best shape of my life, I eat super healthy and clean and i am very proud of my self physically, mentally, and spiritually as I have started to follow Jesus this past summer. My question is, what should I be focusing on at this age, what would you guys do if you could go back in time to your 17 year old self? I’m also learning about money and think my life is in a pretty good position right now, I want to hear some feedback about my life.

You can be 200lb no problem, 90kg isn't elite even at 5ft 9 - It just takes a long time of consistantly eating, sleeping and steadily progressively overloading on the weights. Optimise your hormones by cutting out all enviromental estrogens, plastics, heavy metals (normal deoderant, most skin and hair products) - Filter your water, take ZMA, Boron, find a good product like Naughty Boy Sigma and cycle it, Applied Nutrition Lean Mass is also excellent.

Pretty much two martial arts that you need to be efficient in a street fight.
    1. Wrestling. NOT because you want to take someone down, fk that shit. You want to be able to prevent being taken down, defensive wrestling helps here.
    2. Boxing. Kicks, elbows and knees are brutal but you're hardly going to do that in a street fight, especially kick, if you're in jeans or the floor is slippery. Quick 1 or 2 punches and sprint out of there before other guys jump in. Boxing is perfect for that.
Great video mate, content keeps getting better
