All of the Dominican Republic isn't like this, the gap is huge, as in United States, there's people living on the streets, and there's people living in mansions that costs millions, without mentioning many of the bests resorts in the world are here just in one island in the Caribe, so please don't be ignorant and don't put D.R. as a black hole that nobody wants to visit, just by taking a little peace of footage, without looking at whole picture with all it's colors,in D.R. we are even more enriched in places to tourism, more than the colony of Puerto Rico(my mom visited Puerto Rico so she told me everything), witch ironically belongs to U.S.A and should be better than any other country in Latin America, so take your time to know well what you're dismissing on Internet before you make assumptions that some people might believe and use it to reinforce the ignorant hate towards a whole country, take a trip here, explore the place up and down and then say whatever you wanna say, cause we can't talk of something we don't know, the ignorance is shown there, people should read more.

The colony of The United States of America one of the richest countries of the world that should be taking care of it's people, but just take advantage of everything can find. This is sad but very real I went to Guatemala last year and a lot of kids are roaming the streets trying to sell pens drinks chips etc... I’m far from wealthy but definitely not poor however all the kids that came up to me and asked me can you please buy me something broke my heart. I tried to buy from most of them but there is thousands and thousands of children that do this everyday for a living so sad... God bless you Lynn it might not be much but it’s definitely a huge difference for them and always always makes them smile 🙏🏻
