AkaiSamurai this may be a fantasy but I was wondering if you ever read the book of Urantia talks about something like that but more less of a truth not fiction.

Such a great alternate explanation of history and the many peoples of the world. Never knew it was this vast. Your voice reminded me of the narrator's in Conan the Barbarian. Also, some of the artwork was really interesting. Thanks for uploading man!

The Cimmerians were horsemen from central-Asia and spoke an Eastern-Iranian language of the Saka type! They are the late Xiongnu or Asian Huns!
Fun fact since Marvel owns the Conan franchise they introduce some tidbits of lore, for example, did you know Mary Jane Watson, is direct descent or well sort of reincarnation of Red Sonja, Steve Rogers has partial traces of Aquilonian & Hyperborean genetics, while Stark has Stygian, and lastly this one comes right off the bat Cimmerian blood flows in the veins of the most likely person, Peter Parker is the only living descendant of Conan himself.
Ha really well thank you for that piece of lore. I cant say I follow the Marvelverse of Conan but more information is always good to know :).
Correction, they used to hold the comic license of Conan and other Howard characters, but allowed them to revert back to the owners of Howard's works in the late 90s (at that point Paradox Entertainment). The comic license was later licensed to Dark Horse that makes Conancomics nowadays. And that's the reason Marvel don't mention the Hyborian age that used to be part of their canon anymore.

I love this so much, I hope you do make more. I can't wait for you to get to Kull been wanting to know more about his world in mythology and how they tied together with Conan.
I only want to do Howard's work for the most part so due to his untimely death. There is not much to do for a lot of videos and I did my research of Kull after I did Conan years ago and it is really short and not the most interesting as it is basically Conan before Conan. And the tie in was in the video about his world into Hyboria's. So apologies but Kull is not on the menu sadly, ha.

Did you notice what he said? at 2.19: They return back( the Cimmerians) as Huns, Mongols, Tatars and Turks! I heard opinions that the Huns or earlier the Xiongnu of Mongolia were Cimmerians originally!

Possibly a good idea I meant to mention I'll try to keep it short. Possibility of doing lore/summary on the people within the Conan universe more specific within the books? I know there are some awesome characters however, sadly it's been awhile since I read them haha. Think my favorite characters were the wizard and this young girl (which I totally forgot their names) Conan was hired to protect on a pilgrimage. Near the end of the book the old fumbly wizard turnout to be a master and start blasting a tower to pieces while Conan is climbing up the side of it cursing at him if I recall. Now i'm going to have to go through my collection and find that book. lol
Ha yes, I have considered that but right now I am doing the Gods of Conan the Barbarian. I might get to it but my list of topics I personally want to research is pretty long. In time, if I do it, you can bet Yag Kosha, Yasmina and Xaltotun will make the cut.

Lemuria the lost continent was first depicted in the 19th century in The Secret Doctrine (TSD) by Helena Petrona Blavatsky and it is like the bible for theosophy.
It happens that lemur animals live in Madagascar and India. But TSD was written before tectonic plates were discovered. So there is no Lemuria lost continent. India moved from Madagascar to its current position.
So TSD is also a work of fiction, unlike the "spiritual archeology" it claims to be A very intricate fiction, but fiction in the end.

Back in the ages when life was truly exciting and you never knew what was going to happen and Men decided their own fate not by the wrath of others and the way we do nowadays and plus I like the way the tribal setting I wish that age would return back then men were men and women were women no in between no guts no glory and I wouldn't have had it any other way

lol I'm a real pict. the real picts where where Scottish the tribes that stopped the Romans also known as caledonii. they eventually mingled with gales that invaded the west coast of Scotland from Ireland. This was before mac macaplin became the first Scots king being part Gael and part pict who's power was centred on the Eastern coast. that was the end of Pictsh rule of Scotland. on a side note the first Saxons brought to England where mercenaries to fight the picts and then turned o the Roman celtic Britons that brought them here lol and now England a Saxon country.

I am not going to lie. Seeing Indians using actual metallic old world (land outside of the Americas) weapons I find strange. Then again, these are not actual Indians, but a fantasy culture based on something from Britain. I don't know who should be more offended by the old pict art. Indians or British. haha. I think Howard did not have any intention of ticking off either. haha.

Well from personal letters, Howard and Lovecraft have said things that are not the most flattering about immigrants and the other races. That being said, it is a fantasy world and lets all just enjoy what we can from his writing talent that is obvious to all.
